  1. I found the link which will allow it to be downloaded. It seems to be on the old guk2 server but I can save it to my PC. Midlet I tried it today and it failed, I last used it successfully on the 11th June this year. So not sure if it has stopped working now or if it just struggled today. I think probably the best bet is to wait for Teasel but the link is above if you want to try it.
  2. Do you still have the midlet's .jad and .jar in an emailable form? I'd really appreciate that, and perhaps then we could put it back where it belongs. No I have looked on my PC, i seem to recall following prompts on the website which then downloaded it straight to my phone. I back up my phone via the infrared port onto my work laptop i will see if I can extract it from the phone. The programme was written by the Weston Wanderers has anyone asked them if they have a copy of it?
  3. Could you spell out the full URL please? I can't get any combination to work for me. Thanks. The download link is dead. But the midlet still worked on my phone at the weekend. The geocacheuk site seems to be down today as well. So not able to help at all sorry.
  4. Yes I noticed over the weekend My inbox had a few extra owner found notifications in it from your KeeBee, more the merrier and glad you enjoyed the caches Thanks Iain, Will be back for some of yours soon started the Brine series this weekend. All sorted and she is happy now! Did not take that long I used a standard message and pasted it in. Made two date errors but all sorted now. Thanks to everyone
  5. My 7 year old is happy with this, I just have to log them for her now!!!
  6. I prefer the geocacheuk one. It does still work, you will have to change the target to geocacheuk rather than GUK. But since the new page format on GC.COM it now shows all the detail on your mobile from the web page, so there is a lot to wade through.
  7. Well done that is some record. I owe most of my FTF's to cats-eyes (and have beaten them to a few recently
  8. Only USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and (for some utterly unfathomable reason) Belgium, have their states/provinces/islands listed today. I think if the USA got two levels while Germany, say, is still waiting for them, it would cause a riot. We would love counties in the UK. We can not even choose between England Scotland or Wales (three seperate countries.)
  9. Brill application that I downloaded yesterday. Thanks
  10. The Seeker by The Who The chorus sums it all up: "They call me The Seeker I've been searching low and high I won't get to get what I'm after Till the day I die"
  11. We log DNF's when we know what we are looking for. I travel around a lot and have caches on my Tomtom so sometimes just look for caches purely from the Tomtom with no clues. I only log these as DNF's, if when checking from home I find that I was in the right place. Maybe its work looking at the difficulty rating and for the time being try to focus more on caches which do not have too high a rating, or where there are rarely DNF's logged; its worth scanning back through previous logs reading other's comments. Which may help. It makes us smile when you go to a DNF and you wonder how you missed it the first time.
  12. You may need to change where your browser is looking. Make sure you are looking for http://www.geocacheuk.com/ previously this link and www.guk2.com worked the guk2 links has gone.
  13. Four of us; myself lead cacher, just! Male; then my wife and two boys. All are into caching we also have a daughter who is so obsessed she now has her own account: Keebee. My wife found caching and now claims I am obsessed but when new caches pop up, its not always me racing first out the door! So answer here is 2F(inc Keebee) & 3M.
  14. Brilliant to welcome the site back Thank you Just a warning I use POIEdit to update caches on my Tomtom. I saw the site was running, so ran the programme which logs into the stats page. It ran and I now have a random selection of caches I guess 100. So if anyone else does this, DON'T!!!
  15. I agree with word of mouth. If it is reported in a paper to the degree mentioned previously I think you will drag all sorts in who would end up thrashing around in the undergrowth, upsetting landowners and then moving on and leaving us with the bad press.
  16. I am using IE 7 with no issues, it does sometimes run slowly but bar that no issues.
