  1. Does the coin say "trackable at geocaching.com" anywhere on the coin? Does the coin have a tracking number on it? If the answer is no to either or both questions then the coin isn't trackable.

BTW just because its a 2009 edition coin doesn't automatically mean its been activated. Even if it was activated and given as a prize you would have to fill out an adoption form to take full ownership of the coin.

It does say trackable at geocaching.com but I can't find the code

Look on the edge of the coin, sometimes it is there.

  2. Help me out here ... puh-lease!

    Two things ....

    Number 1.

What's the word or phrase that lies between "frustrated" and "extremely

annoyed" that describes the emotion I experience when being forced by

circumstances to either solve a so-called puzzle cache, or when I want to

find the name of an interesting plant such as the one shown above? Any

language will do, my guess, probably French or Italian.

    Number 2.

More urgently, what's the name either common or Latin of the plant shown

    above?

    Related Rant.

Here's the thing, I have the answer in hand because it exists somewhere

within my very-own copy of the huge 8x10.5 inch, 1,400-page book called

"The Jepson Manual - The Higher Plants of California."

The heart of the matter is that I'm too dumb to extract an answer from the

extremely terchnical Jepson Manual in under five or six days of dedicated

searching. Too dumb to get beyond the "Introduction" in under ten hours

of whatever that word is I've asked for in paragraph Number 1 above.

So help me out here, what's the name of the fabulous little plant with the

unusually whorled stamens in the photograph above? Saw lots of them

while hiking through the Sycamore Canyon HoF area yesterday, near that

prominent little knob that pokes up out in the middle of the flatland.

    Puh-lease!

For Number one I would say Flabbergasted!!!!!!!!!

For Number Two I would call them Centaury; Rosita (Centaurium calycosum) Found Picture and discription in the Audubon Society Field Guide. Just do not know how to post pictures from a book.

  3. Hello, we have been away from the caching scene for awhile and I just have a quick question. I am still able to build pocket queries with some success, However when I create one with a date before the year 2000 I get zero results. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

There were no Geocaches prior to May 1 of 2000.

  4. Hi, :( is it posible to create a search, :) that search for caches that has been loged eg. today, <_< in the last week or in the past month, and that is in the near of my home koordinates ?

    Kind regards from Denmark

Yes, As a Premium Member you can set up a pocket query that will do most of what you ask.

Great Idea for a cointest, My favorite Game is poker. Someone mentioned SlapJack Boy does that bring back memories playing with my sisters. You deal the cards out equal to all players then take turns laying down a card, when a Jack comes you Slap it the first to do so wins the pile of cards. when one player has all cards they win.

  6. HAVE YOU HAD YOUR VOTE TODAY ?????

    VOTE HERE

All entrants got an email yesterday saying that the judging will be taking a little longer due to so many cars entered, so that give us a little hope. Maybe they'll keep the cars with 200 votes and up

    Keep on voting!!!!!!

    Thanx

    225 and going strong :D:D:D
