Hello I have recently adopted a cache from another cacher but it still shows in the listing the previous owner. If I click the owner link it bring up my profile page. Is this something GC changes or am I able to edit in any way? Thanks for any help.

I use Iphone too but also have an android tablet so Ill check that out. Thanks!

Thank you. Yes. The membership shows premium in the 'new' app but the search results only show a limited number of caches when there are actually many many of all types. I'll definitely still use the 'classic' app until I cant.

Im already a paid premium member and paid for the 'classic' app. I'm trying to be patient for all of the functionality to be migrated to the 'new' app but why fix what isn't broken?! Can someone help me understand how to make sure my search results include ALL types of caches and difficulty ratings? Does my premium membership get migrated automatically or is there a separate step? Maybe this functionality hasn't been completely updated yet in the 'new' app?

Im fairly new to geocaching (only 65 finds) and have an etrex10 but end up using my iphone app as the default. My specific issue with it is reading the map, however, I feel its not the device but me that is the problem. Im not a fan of the small, black and white pixel screen view but prefer the street map view with the iphone. Ive just recently discovered the iphone app has a built in compass so if Im in an area without cell service I switch over to use that instead. Additionally, to my knowledge, the etrex10 doesnt have a find feature based on your current location. Instead, you manually load the coordinates or use the very hand download option from your PC. I am planning to trade mine in at a pawn shop for a garmin nuvi type gps instead. I have downloaded the full manual for more review but any advice from a more experienced user on tips or shortcuts to more effectively use the device is appreciated.
