Geo-Gophers

Arrived safe and sound today, that has to be the quickest that anything has ever arrived from overseas!! These really are lovely coins... and I hope the one that I eventually plan to release in Dad's memory will travel far. He suffered with Parkinsons almost from the start of his early retirement until he passed away in 1997. It was heartbreaking to see the change in him.....the memory loss was the worst thing I think, in his case anyway. This awful disease ruined the last years of his life and even stopped him from doing his favourite hobby.......his fishing so hopefully this coin of mine will eventually make it to caches near lochs, lakes and rivers. A great cause, thank you.

Yes they certainly do look lovely, but I don't think it'll make much of a difference whether or not I change my sleeping times....because when the grey matter was dished out I must have been at the back of the queue lol!! Me too, witches, fairies and anything to do with history/mythology........I would love a Walpurgis 2007 coin (at least I think it's the 2007 - it's the one with the green hat that I haven't got), can't seem to find one anywhere though.

How exciting is this.......hope it makes it's way to Scotland at some point down the line... on it's travels!!

Said it earlier today and I'm saying it again....what a talented bunch you all are!! Love seeing all these.....maybe I (or we!) will have a go......but I doubt we could come up with anything remotely near as good as all of these.

I wish that I could just step right into these pictures......what a beautiful, peaceful looking place. All the greens are so lush and fresh looking ....lovely seeing the koi there too..

These are beautiful.....as are Coyoteguy's tokens, and I love the pirate theme in lordzogat's work too. Love seeing everybody's creations.....there sure are a lot of very talented folks on here. I haven't got an artistic bone in my body.

Well, some of my ideas are very long shots lol. I'm going to be doing this too.....because without it I think my "person" might be completely baffled! Still waiting for a little item to come in the post to put in with what I'm sending.....hope it doesn't take too long. Ali
