Me and my Geo-pup Emmett. He's been caching 4 times now, and actually found one cache for us this last weekend. Bostons have good sniffers!

I've been a regular member for just over 4 years and only have 71 hides finds, so I fall into that area of not having a lot of time to do this hobby. Lately I've been finding that I desire to get out more and do more caching. After realizing the benefits of what a PQ can do for me, I've finally decided to go with the PM thing. I've never been too concerned with the fact that there were caches restricted from my ability to find, but I am certainly going to be happy to finally be able to hunt them moving forward. Have fun! How about putting it on YouTube? Is that an acceptable media outlet for a video that a fellow cacher has made?

I have recently pulled my daughter into the game and she seems to be hooked. She wants to start doing this on her own and with friends. With that in mind I am considering the base model eTrex for a first unit for her. The price seems right for a low risk entry GPS for her to start with. Any words of wisdom or another unit I should consider? I don't want her "borrowing" mine. Thanks for any suggestions.

My first was just the other day, as I am a newb. A multi-part virtual. Very nice. My second, and first "real" cache, was the same day later on. I was pretty stoked. My uncle turned me on to this caching madness. I know that I am hopelessly doomed!
