  1. Honk!! That was an interesting memorial...
  2. I think a road trip to Austin for Necropolis is in order...
  3. Sue, I'm so very happy for you ... on Thanksgiving Day no less, aren't you clever! (I caught a rash just waiting on this.) Working with you on Yrium cards has been a delight just as it was with FlagMan only you are better looking than he is. FisnJack well deserves this honor ... but just wait until his pals see the related misprint card. Ha-ha-ha-ha! Snark! Notice that Teddie upstaged him in the layout ... of course, Teddie is better looking than he is. Ha-ha-ha-ha! Snark! Harmon SD Rowdies Anybody wanna see my rash? AWESOME!!!!! LOVE it!!!! Noticed the nuances right away. Great job all the way around!!! Picked up one for me and one for lulu at Max's...
  4. Hi, there!! For anyone who is interested, I am pleased to announce that the mantle has been passed!! That's right, from now on the UDesignit Card TB is "owned" by The Fat Cats!! Sue has graciously agreed to carry on the proud tradition started by the lovable yrium. Harmon, of course, will continue to provide artistic and technical support. Almost 7-years is enough of my nonsense, dontcha think?, so I have stepped down from day-to-day involvement and will serve as a sort of deposed dictator of sorts, pulling all the strings from some deserted island where I have been exiled for various crimes against humanity. Sue is really good with scissors -- just ask Harmon -- so you can rest assured that we are in good hands (just watch your fingers...) Anyhoo, let's all put our hands together and give Sue a huge SoCal welcome!!! Can't wait to see you put your stamp on this project!!
  5. Congrats to balcanthez for a Triple Milestone!!! 5 Kilos of cache finds, 1/2 year (183 days) of consecutive finds, and completion of the Mission Bay Hall of Fame!! Here's his log...
  6. Introducing Yrium TNG #17 - Indiana Ed Card inspired by Jubeloh Card designed by Harmon of SD Rowdies And introducing a new member of the team -- The Fat Cats -- who produced the final product in card form (printing, cutting, laminating and trimming). Thanks, Sue!!! A supply of these cards has been dropped in Max's Favorite Park.
  7. Congrats to the Splashes for 10 Years of Geocaching!!!
  8. Congrats 3cds!!!! WoooooHooooooo!!!!
  9. Hey Now! Super-cachers to the rescue! Way to go! If there's anything that truly deserves a "Like" button, this is it. Our Heros!!! :anicute: Lulu & Splashette will be checking out the aftermath of the fire tomorrow.......and will be sure to verify the 'handsome firefighters' are really handsome ! I have to admit, I was wondering about that myself... I knew someone would bring that up... it's just what TripleCrown told me. So now the spotlight of inquiry pans from Duncan! to TripleCrown. The operative phrase here is "... had the opportunity ...." As it is one can only speculate about ways to "... wake up some handsome firefighters." What happens in the firehouse stays in the firehouse, is that it? Note to Self: Gawd! ... now those stupid Like buttons are on the Forum threads. Nowhere to hide .... I was a little surprised at the communal sleeping arrangements at the firehouse. Duncan! rang the bell, the light came on inside and since the blinds were open, we saw all the young firefighters jumping out of their beds in their shorts (no shirts...because they're it's too hot.) Soon they were all suited up and rolling in the rig! The fire at the campground was soon out, but NOT the fire in Duncan's heart! Great job, guys (or should I say, dawgs...)... No sign of any fire when I went through there on Sunday morning. I think at least SOME credit should go to Ragfoot for placing these caches, 'cause that's what brought the Dawg Team out caching in the middle of the night!! :)
  10. I'm planning on going up Sunday morning...
  11. It probably means you've logged a cache twice... I don't think so. I've not been in this area before...but at the same time I will admit that after a while the caches do begin to blur, and I will admit to getting confused with all the recent Fiesta Island hides. Maybe that's where it is... Thanks for the answer! Welp...I checked my logs for Fiesta Island, and there it was: two logs for the same cache. I deleted one of them, so once again there is equilibrium in The Force. Thanks for all your help! Robert I did the same thing last year on Mission Bay. Found a cache years earlier and re-found/logged it when I was out caching with a group. Took me a bit, but I finally found out which one it was and got it fixed. It's good to have equilibrium... There's a program somewhere that will tell you which ones you've double logged. A macro in GSAK, I think. Download the My Finds PQ and load it into its own database in GSAK and then run the macro and it will tell you which ones are double logged...
  12. Congrats to W9JIM, the SD area cacher with the earliest "member since" date (2/12/2001), for 2 Kilos of cache finds!!!
  13. Congratulations to habu! and to Silver Horde for Ten (10) Years of Geocaching this month!!! And let's not forget W9JIM (2/12/01) and RocketMan (5/09/01)!!!
  14. Now THAT's pretty cool!! Reminds me of a wind chime thing we once had... Thanks Tom, By golly Geocaching wind-chimes might be another good marketing niche for you. Think of it, Geocaching wind chimes with a built-in cache container. No charge for the idea, Harmon I think Jodi's already done it and patented it...
  15. Now THAT's pretty cool!! Reminds me of a wind chime thing we once had...
  16. Demand pictures of them and others in compromising positions...
  17. Click on the "Your Profile" button on the top of any cache page, click on "Quick View" and then about half way down on the right there will be a section for "Premium Features" and in that box will be a link to "Set Up Notifications." Everything you need is in there...
  18. Can't wait!! 11/11/11 -- I had a friend in college who used to run up and down the halls every night at 11:11 yelling out, "It's eleven eleven..." Yeah, we were nerds... Maybe I'll do that all day at the event for you all...
  19. Imagine my surprise when my super fast computer started up and my pretty daffodils were replaced with that imagine! Ya got me Ole man! Nice...I think it'll stay there for a while..might motivate me to create some new hides! I'm glad you liked the cake...that was just hours out of the oven when you cut into it. It's called Lumberjack and is best with fresh clotted cream. I got that recipe in Australia so converting the metric measurements is always a chore...I hope I got them right. James...yes indeed Harmon did a good deed this week for John and I by tuning up our computers. Now I'm not one to brag or anything but he told me I'm Queen of Entropy. He says I'm the best one he's ever seen. Now I'm not much into computers but I'm thinking I must be really special to Harmon! He even gave me a new gigabyte or two...ain't that nice of him? . Yikes!!! The fabric of the universe is unraveling before my very eyes!!! Harmon and Jodi doing NICE things for each other?!?! What next?!? FlagMan marching in the May Day parade with the Pinko Commie?!? We need to restore order to this world, and fast!!! Quick, somebody pull up a DTCMMBLB picture or SOMETHING!!! Place an Old People's cache in the Tri-Cities!!! HELP!!!!!
