Great point! The Data License Agreement/Waypoint License Agreement that you read when you download your pocket queries does indicate that this type of usage is ok, from my understanding (IANAL, of course). I think derivative works would probably be the part that best covers it - and my guess is that this is also what INATN is referring to with the note about uploads being permitted according to the Data License Agreement. To make it more clear, I'll check with Groundspeak to see if they have preferred wording for acknowledging usage of things other than than logos or documentation, and add that to the site in the future.
flask, I can understand how some people feel that posting numbers and stats in profiles is tacky or show-offy. For me personally, it appeals to my analytical, geeky nature to be able to see all the information laid out in different ways and to have fun visualizations of it, and it makes geocaching even more fun for me. I know not everyone agrees, and I'm ok with that
