Like climbstuff mentioned, most (all?) of these require you to upload your pocket query zip file in order to generate the stats, and you need to be a premium member in order to do that. If you click on my username to the left, you can see what the ones from http://www.mygeocachingprofile.com look like.

I heard back from Groundspeak, and I've updated our site as they requested. We're all set now. Thanks again for bringing this up.

Great point! The Data License Agreement/Waypoint License Agreement that you read when you download your pocket queries does indicate that this type of usage is ok, from my understanding (IANAL, of course). I think derivative works would probably be the part that best covers it - and my guess is that this is also what INATN is referring to with the note about uploads being permitted according to the Data License Agreement. To make it more clear, I'll check with Groundspeak to see if they have preferred wording for acknowledging usage of things other than than logos or documentation, and add that to the site in the future. flask, I can understand how some people feel that posting numbers and stats in profiles is tacky or show-offy. For me personally, it appeals to my analytical, geeky nature to be able to see all the information laid out in different ways and to have fun visualizations of it, and it makes geocaching even more fun for me. I know not everyone agrees, and I'm ok with that

rvtraveller, I'm going to be traveling to Argentina this November, and I'm really looking forward to caching there. Did you end up finding any memorable caches on your trip?

Hi! I've been lurking in the forum for quite awhile, but only very recently started posting. I've been caching for just about 2 years now, and I cache under the name "Brainzane & Yossface" these days. gypsyofthesky, I think that's par for the course when getting started caching. I know I had the same experience for awhile before my caching-sense kicked in. The best advice another cacher gave me was to pay less attention to what the GPSr is telling you, and more attention to what just feels a little out of place. You'll be spotting suspicious piles of sticks and rocks before you know it!
