We put this cache out 11/14/06 to highlight the lack of wheelchair friendly caches in our area. We were fighting against some very vocal cachers who were trashing "cache n dashes". What they refused to realize is not everyone navigate the terrain to reach all caches. The park we chose is in McGraw, NY. It is a paved trail with a river running alongside it. While we have many caches that are wheelchair accessible this is our only one were we provided the link back to handicaching. I think we may start adding the link to all our other wheelchair friendly caches.

Glad to hear that the design will be made. Really liked it but wasn't really a kid coin that fit my kid :-) Look forward to the coin coming out and hope some are available for sale! Paula has assured us we will be seeing the design soon. Keep your fingers crossed. We have been waiting so patieintly and are eagerly awaiting to see the final results.

Giving back is an amazing thing. Another way to give back would be to put out a tribute cache to the mystery person. You could put a picture of the coin on the cache page and a story about how you got it. It would give the mystery person another way of seeing how their gift has given more to geocachers in general. PS wouldn't it be nice if everyone who got a mystery coin did this and one big bookmark list could be made!!!
