  1. Yes, it is still on the 25th. Sorry about the late reply. Here is the cache page Clarksville CITO. I hope you found the page earlier, and I hope you can make it!
  2. As for the most people watching, The Homeless Bathtub GC6FA6 has 57 faithful watchers at the moment. I'm one of them! DevilDucks
  3. My husband is in the Army and this is one of his biggest struggles with his soldiers. He can't even stand them field stripping them! His punishment for getting caught throwing a butt on the ground was making the joe carry a garbage bag attached to his belt until the entire bag was filled with butts the soldier had picked up. Well, the guys never wanted to be busted for that again, so they all started wearing these on their belts: CanKeepers They pretty much just pop off the cherry and put the butt in the belt clip. I guess it keeps the smell down too, because my husband can't stand that either and he hasn't complained about it. Anyways, just a suggestion...
  4. I am all about a club of some sorts for Clarksville! I LOVE the MTGC....really great bunch of people, but it would be nice to have some action in these parts without the drive to Nashville. I will bring this up to some family teams I know who don't read the boards. Also, I've noticed quite a few "newbies" (you being one) pop up recently in the area, so I'm pretty sure there could be intrest drummed up. I'm also getting set to place some caches in the Clarksville/Hopkinsville area....and since I'm totally not a people-person, it would be nice to have some backing when asking for permission/talking to land owners. Please email me, I have lots of free time and would be glad to be of help!
  5. Texas-Jacksons, I have a boxer named Tasha too! (well Natasha, but she responds to Tasha better) She is a whitey though, her brother is named Boris and he is of the same coloring of your Tasha. These two don't really enjoy caching (I know I can't believe it either, they don't really even like to be walked!!) I rescued them a few months ago after losing our cache-machine boxer named Guffman. Hopefully I will get around to posting some pics of them. I saw your baby too Dread Pirate Roberts' very handsome. Everyones dogs are adorable, I guess I am just a bit partial! Thanks for sharing them! P.S. What breed is Bailie Halden? Her color is gorgeous.
  6. Along the lines of what Moun10Bike said, I know my husband has some teenie tiny ammo cans that he uses with his "war models". He buys them from a local hobby shop. There are different sizes to account for the scale of the models. I know its an old tradition to have a small pickle ornament hidden somewhere on the tree, and the one who finds it gets some sort of small present or gets to be the first in line to open presents. This could easily be changed to whomever finds the ammo can in caching households! New tradition! (my pickle got broken last year in the-dog-tried-to-climb-the-tree incident anyways) DevilDucks
  7. Must complain..... got this as an email response to a cache that i looked for and did not find: quote: This was out firs stash and neither of us own a GPS receiver. My boyfriend got the coordinates off Topomap. The cache is in a tree along the west wall in the front part of the park. Guess what? That park if FULL of trees (most of which i already searched)! The coords that are given on the page take me to a cornfield two roads away from the park that the cache is named for. I know I should just laugh this off...but c'mon really now...what thought was put into this? Grrrrr, I will now return to my normally scheduled non-complaining.
  8. Well, _I_ serve by being the one to keep the homefires burning, the care packages coming, and the memory of him strong in his children. He serves in the U.S. Army, 1995 to present. He is the one to sleep in the dirt, brush sand out of his teeth, and hope the dogs don't forget who he is and attack him on his way into the house after a long mission. I don't see him often, and I miss him greatly, but I couldn't be more proud. In fact, right now I have the floopy butterflies in my stomach, because he will be home (for a short amount of time) SOON....someday I won't know what to do when its time for him to be home for GOOD!(I don't think he will either!)
