coast2coast2coast replied to Riverchaser's topic in General geocaching topics
There's your problem.... We don't have "zip" codes we use "postal" codes make sure you enter it right...L2E 6T3 ...Don't forget the space bettween the first 3 caracters and the last 3. Try this postal code L2E 6T3 it should take you HERE Good Luck P.S. I'm not from there so I have not been to any of the caches C2C2C -

When I want to know if my new cache site is far enough away, I simply go to "Hide and Seek a cache"...put in a lat and long and it will tell you how far the closest cache is from your way points...I hope this helps C2C2C

just got back from "Canadian Cachers Heaven" AKA Victoria BC here is one of the Logs,,, March 21 by coast2coast2coast (368 found) Well I have been looking forward to this “Cacheathon” for a long time. I started out at 0600 on Sunday and stopped at 1800 I managed to get 35 caches all over Victoria. I like this place even better now!… I got up bright and early on Monday morning and found 10 more.. So it was 45 caches in 28 hours…I’m Pooped!! But what a great time… I never met any other cachers but I made tons of new four legged friends. Quite a few caches were in off leash parks ( Zoe and Stewie’s favourite kind) I had to go to the galley for some great chilli on the way home. (I had to pay for lunch.) I think I was # 271. Well thanx to every Cacher who made these 2 days the height of my 3 years Geocaching This was a blast!!! I will more then likely never have the opportunity to do this again Here is the map I used... these are only rated 3's and below... there are a lot more caches here then what are on my map. C2C2C

Silly Question Time
coast2coast2coast replied to coast2coast2coast's topic in General geocaching topics
Great.... Thanx a bunch C2C2C -
Before you say " Why would he want to watch a cache he is ignoring? " Let me explain... I helped my daughter place a cache yesterday... I don't like to log it as a find because It wouldn't be right... Until now, If I wanted to get her caches off of my closest to list, I had to log them... What I want to do is to ignore it so it doesn't show up on my closest to list but still be able to watch it to keep tabs on it... Does anyone else have a problem logging caches they helped wtih as finds??

coast2coast2coast replied to coast2coast2coast's topic in General geocaching topics
I tried a bunch of things... I washed the dogs 2 times with dog shampoo... One of the pups was still stinky so I tried the baking soda...That got rid of most of the smell...The last thing I used was Lemon juice...That worked best..no more stinky dogs I had to look that one up...You are right! Did you not read my post! I was out Geocaching when they found a salmon... I'm just asking if any other pet owning cachers have a solution... MOST people here (99%) are very helpful with things like this.
