OK its getting down to crunch time...I would like to know how many people are interested in coming to Comox for The Dip...I would like to know how much Chili to make...by then my daughter should be finished her Bronze Cross (Life gaurding thingy) and we should have a lifegaurd on hand. *****The other day I was playing poker with Tarot cards. We had the great pleasure today to meet Mariner BC and a duck in tow. They were feasting on some TH chili and a nice visit we had. I felt horrible to find out how devestated you are about the recent loss. I have placed an urgent call to Santa and I hope that maybe he'll be able to leave a special cache under your tree at christmas. We're looking forward to meeting someday you and the other Island cachers in the near future. Maybe it will be as early as January 1 in Comox for the Van Isle Geocach polarbear dip. I found a bug in a cache that wasn't logged in...I brought the poor bug home and plugged the code on the travel bug page...low and behold it hasn't been logged since June 02...It is logged in the possession of a cacher and not in a cache...I have emailed the holder and the owner but to no avail... These Guys in our Avatar are some "Collectible" Items from Caches in our area. One person in the area leaves little rubber duckies in each cache while an other person leaves pirate "Dubloons" ..do you guys collect these sorta things, Should I have left them in the cache for the cache owner or should they be set free? I Did one polar bear dip in the artic ocean (Greenland) ...there were icebergs its a good thing I went for a whiz before I went into the water, if you catch my drift

MarinerBC asked if I was going to put together a Meeting in Courtney for all the Island GeoCachers and I joked about doing a Polar bear dip on Jan 01 03 then my mind raced at the possibilities ...I could set up a cache at a GREAT spot I know of we could come up with a time on New Years and all meet and bring in the new year at the same time with a Polar bear dip...What do you V Islanders think of this ???? I'll post this on the Canada site too Coast³

that would be cool... I'm on a course right now But I had a great Idea...We could meet up here on Jan 1st and do a Geocache polar bear Dip! any takers?
