  1. I borrowed a chainsaw to slice off the top then I used a chisel and a 1" wood drill...Took close to a week...Maybe I shoulda let it totaly dry first... I dont quite know what to do with the lid tho...hinge it or use dowels...I was also thinking about putting a chain through the bottom and chain it to a root.I know that it will only keep honest people from stealing it..What do ya think??? *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*

  8. Are dogs allowed on the Island? It would be a crying shame not to be able to go 'cause of that. we didn't start Caching till Sept. so it'll be our caching anniversery *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  9. we went to this cache Necking in the Park and sure enough we could not get to the cache site do to high tides ...I logged a DNF to warn others to heed to the warning about it being tide dependant. Coast³ *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  10. Now that i have your attention... My sister wanted to take our 2 girls for a weekend visit so we made plans for a weekend of Caching down Island and now we have a whole new meaning for the term "Dirty Weekend" most people having this opportunity(being childless for the weekend) would surely have other things on their mind for their dirty weekend. We however, having been bit by Geocaching bug set out to find 15 or so caches in Victoria so our dirty weekend consisted of swooping low getting scratched pants muddy and falling down a hill on our way to finding 19 and one "MISSING" cache at Beacon Hill park. We are looking forward to another Dirty weekend in the month of February. *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*

  12. I am the wife of a Geo cacher and when my husband and kids would go out with the dog and return with smiles on their faces I had to reconsider my position on Caching. We all went together for a nice walk along a beach and when I found the cache I was hooked. It is amazing the sights you see and if touching the cache is her concern she really doesn't have too just stand back and let the others go crazy for the cache. I truly do enjoy the hikes but not the rooting through the soil. Heres to happy thoughts of caching. *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  13. That worked...Thanx *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  14. I want to use a picture on my next cache page but I have no idea how to do it...I dont mean the ones that you can put in the cache page after the page goes up...I want the picture to be part of my discription... like this.. Thanx in advance Coast2coast2coast *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  15. We are so happy to read the opening statement of your log CG. "The last week has been tough on a lot of people - let's all try to put it behind us and move on We are all friends playing the same game, it should stay that way!" Even though we are fairly new at this Geo caching and the dispute of KFWB really didn't apply to us we felt the anger boiling over to the valley cachers. We've met some wonderful people from both down island mid island and around the comox valley and it would be a really sad day if the fun and enjoyment of the game couldn't continue. Once again we congratulate you for a statement well made and may the happiness of the sport return. Happy caching to one and all. *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  16. We as a family enjoy caching and not for any monitary rewards only for the shear enjoyment of the outdoors oh I think that is #15. My husband was the one that started in with Geo caching and our two girls and I just began to follow him on these outdoor adventures oh I think that is #10. Unfortunately we have seen the tone and enjoyment of the sport take a turn to the competitive end of things #17, that is where we don't fit in. Anyway for all of you cache-a- holics, lets not turn a fun sport into a sport were people are going to turn against one another. Money just isn't worth the hardships. Also remember one step at a time and keep coming back it works. *We are teaching our Zoe dog to sniff out Tupperware...*
  17. That sounds like fun...Of course you know what would hapen if two or more Canucks should carry these "special" walking sticks and meet each other while Caching dont you????? A pick up hockey game would start up...Any ideas what we would use as a puck? *****The other day I was playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.*****

  21. I've placed 5 caches in my local area... The first one took 2 days to get approval then less and less for each cache...the 5th one was approved in 3 hours! I dont know if they alocate different areas to different people (maybe Jeremy could shed some light on this) but the person who approved ours is erik88l-r and I think he does a great job *****The other day I was playing poker with Tarot cards.
