I upload the PQ using GSAK directly to the internal memory not a microSD. I may use the gps for several days without issue and then later the caches have disappeared. Would it be better to upload to a microSD?

I upload a PQ to my oregon 450, then a week or so later and the data has disappeared. Can any one offer an explanation? No other person has access to the oregon and I didn't accidentally delete them.

Does anyone know the maximum number of caches that can be stored on a Nuvi 250?

Hi, I have a nuvi and was thinking about updating it with city navigator NA 2009. Can I install the update to a SD card and put that in the nuvi ? I'd rather do it that way if possible rather than maybe bricking the unit by overwriting the current maps. Thanks, The Broylers

Anyone know the best way to drill a hole in a rock so that a bison tube or file cannister can be placed inside to create a cache? Also, what would be the best way to affix the bison/ cannister to the inside of the rock? There are no rock caches in our area that I'm aware of, so I thought it would be good to place a few. Thanks. Thanks for providing this macro. We are using a nuvi 250 and we have found caches that we would normally have driven by not knowing that they were near.

We always cache together. I'm 39, wife is 37 and kids are 10, 8 and a newborn who is 4 weeks. The newborn did her first cache at 3 days old and she has done 12 caches so far

I also think the the Phipps familiy has a great idea. It would be great for those of us that cache as a family. I too have thought about the issue that arises when kids grow up and want to cache on their own.

Has anybody had any success using Pilot install to sync a Handspring Visor PDA? I would like to be able to upload from gsak to my pda for paperless caching. There doesn't seem to be an updated driver for Vista for hotsyncing older pdas like the Visor. Thanks, broylers

I'm trying to submit a sudoku puzzle cache for publication. I've been constructing the puzzle in MS word. When I try to copy and paste into the long description section of the submission form, the table does not appear. Any idea as to how I can submit this puzzle? Thanks, broylers

Hi, I will soon have a couple of the motorola li-ion batteries for my magellan. I think that I have read that a PSP charger can be used to charge these batteries in the unit. Is this the case and does it matter if I use the home or car PSP charger? thanks, broylers

Hi, New to the paperless caching. I uploaded some caches to my pda. They sort alphabetically no problem, however, when I try to sort by wpt the wpt codes GCXXX don't show up. I get a rearranged list of the cache names instead. Any ideas? Thanks, broylers

I checked the palm site and it appears to me that the software for the visor is not compatible with vista. broylers

Hi, Just got a visor deluxe from the garage sale section of the forums. I am in the process of getting set up for paperless caching. Apparently, according to the palm website, the desktop software for this pda is not compatible with windows vista. Does anybody know of a solution? Is there any other desktop software that I can use with the visor son that it will work with Vista? thanks, broylers
