  3. Not always. Moun10Bike, umc and I use our regular accounts. I had to register the puppymonster. He would have bitten me if someone would have taken it. So do I....

  6. quote:Originally posted by Night Stalker:...I set it to comm 1 it worked fine.... How did you manage that....? I could not figure it out in windows xp home... thanks..
  7. On my laptop (ibm thinkpad r31) I use the garmin usb adapter. Garmin Order Number: 010-10310-00 That works super...made a com 4 port all by itself (after getting the updated drivers for XP)...and worked in about 3 minutes like a charm. Only thing is that some of the software I use only have a comport selection up to com 2...so that has to go threw my desktop....
  8. I have this device since the first day it came out in europe....somewhere june last year....and I enjoy every minute with it. I can load much more maps (the city select cd from garmin takes up much more space (needed points for the routing) for the same area as the R&R or Metro Guide does), I use the altimeter a lot, the electronic compass is the thing I like the best while stroling around... Further more the 76 s Floats...! It saved me from buying a new one when I was in the marina and dropped it over the side....if it would have sunk the 14 meters down it would surely be ruind.... If you are looking for an autorouting gps get the V. Otherwise I would vote for the 76 S. You can also check out these groups at yahoo: garmin map 76 S group garmin V group Hope my input helps you a bit to dicide...

  14. Dear all, I am in an very good mood, as I spoke to someone who has acces to an salesrep from the smurfs factory (at least the one in Germany). He is willing to ask for the possibility for a GeoCaching Smurf..... The only thing was that he wanted to know in what sort of numbers he should count.... So my request is to just post here if and howmany you would buy if there would be a GeoCaching smurf... Thanx and I will try to uphold the statistics in this post. Updated: October 10, 2002 23:26 (CET) Total number off smurfs: +/-040 [This message was edited by Hawkeyes on October 10, 2002 at 02:26 PM.]
