My wife and I will be in the Nashville area for 4-5 days in a couple weeks. Looking for some fun areas of the city or surrounding area (parks, forests....) to do some caching. Any locations or areas that cachers from the area would recommend? We enjoy all types - it is a great way to visit an area. Looking forward to the visit

My wife and I are looking for a nice place to go on a 4 day weekend in May in the midwest region (we are in Cincinnati). We like different places but especially areas with parks (local and state) / trails / interesting places. We enjoyed Brown County, Indiana and Berea, Kentucky most recently. Any help on some new areas or fun areas where you have cached and visited. Post it for us all to see. Thanks

We are having a GeoCaching event next weekend and unfortunately it looks like showers are in the forecast. I know, in theory, GPSr's should work in that weather but wondering what the experience of others have been with this type of weather in the past. The good, the bad, the muddy (One good side - it certainly will keep the muggle count down)

The course pointer on our Vista CX compass does not show up when it is on just compass mode (ie - not pointing to a destination). Originally it showed up and the after lending it out, it came back and is not showing. Our friend says he does not remember doing anything different. I tried Garmin support and they were unable to help us. Has anyone had this problem or know of a way to correct it. Thanks

I have a son who works in a retailer and has the following units available for him to get as an employee: Magellan Sportrak with Mapsend Topo 3D - $170 Magellan eXplorist 500 - $210 Etrex Vista - $210 Etrex Legend CX with UsaMap - $265 He has asked me for suggestions. He is started to get into Geocaching. I use a eX210 Too many choices for me. Any suggestions from the group - that I could pass onto him. Thanks in advance
