  1. While doing a search for new caches in my area, I saw a listing for a cache in a cemetery. I talked about it with the Mrs and we feel that a cemetery was an inappropriate place for recreational activities. I wanted to get some other's thoughts on this location as well as what other places would be innappropriate especially for children. Thanks.
  2. I'm thinking about getting the Garmin 176 it is kind of portable and good for my boat any comments on the 176 or 176c. Thanks in advance
  3. We have only found 5 caches thus far. But in these times where televison and other outside influences are tring to corrupt my family. My wife and I love Geocaching. It gets the whole family out of the house and discovering new things and places. The kids get a fantastic sense of accompliahment when we find one. The simple trinkets the get to keep are becoming their most prized possesions. We often discuss where we can place caches of our own. The products are great ways to build enthiasium for the hobby. We started to talk about travel bugs and also hope to stat a few of those soon. Santa has been asked for a few Official Geo Caching items to help make our activity more fun. We could get along fine without them but we want these things and the kids look forward to going out exploring whenever possible. I do not know what it was all of you hoped to get out of GeoCaching but so far the rewards have far and away of paced any thing the minor commercializing has caused. Just my 2 cents.
  4. I travel a lot and am really enjoying caching. Can I get a wireless web version of the web site to search for caches when I can't get to a computer with graphic capabilities? All I would want is simple text and the GPS coordinates. Of course I need the zip code search function. Any comments?
  5. Is he nuts or does he want publicity just like "New Coke" The longer we talk about it the longer his crazy idea will last. I am planning several Caches for next spring and every last one will be an ammo box. Can you say Proud to be an American Geocacher?
