    Platinum comes with 16mb of basemap. I think that is more than sportrak. i bought a 64mb SD card from amazon and uploaded map into my platinum. I'm glad i bought this gpsr with mem expansion slot. Mapsend topo works well and i now used it navigate when i'm out of town. i can do more than just geocaching. CFG

    i bought this from REI as well and just started to use it. So far i'm very pleased with it. It's easy to use and accurate. i am also impressed with how fast it will lock on to satellites. CFG
