Like the title says I have a Dell Axim X3 400 MHz and 64MB of ram and it also has wieless capability.This is in very good condition. There is one small blemish on the edge of the unit and is hardly noticeable. The screen is like factory new with no scratches! I will also include a 4GB memory card with this unit. I only used this for a few caches and mostly for listening to music on airline flights. I am asking $140.00 shipped with the 4GB card or $110.00 without the memory card- includes the dock for quick uploads from a pc and charging, a usb cable for charging and uploads when traveling, dell Companion software, instruction manual and soft case and 4 GB memory card. I received your pm and since you haven't found anything yet I have an offer for you. I have a yellow etrex that is in working order but is missing the rubber page button. The button still works but a pencil or small pinky finger will be just the ticket to page along. Since you are 12 and you conducted yourself in a very adult way you can have this GPSr if you want it. This is a good activity and you could be doing worse things and I like to see young people getting into this and promoting this activity. Your father should be proud and eager to upgrade your unit since another cacher got you started. I have a 2.5 & 1.5 year old and look forward to them getting their first GPSr- until then they seem happy to look through the cache swag. I just bought a 60CSX and absolutely love it. I plan to get some maps in the future just not sure what I am going to load just yet. The question is what size micro sd chip do I need? I understand it is upgradeable to 4GB but can I get away with any thing smaller? Thanks RSH

Like the title says: this is a Magellan Explorist 500LE with everything that comes with the new unit including the original box and all documentation plus a neoprene Gilsson case that has never been used! The unit is in perfect shape except for two very small screen imperfections that I wouldn't even call a scratch and can't even be seen except at an angle with the light right. Used this for 7 caches! These come with an expandable sd memory card slot, usb cable, AAA battery adapter (which is what I used) some "read me first" paperwork, user manual- both paper and cd rom and MapSend software. I am looking for $110.00 for everything shipped- paypal prefered.

Thanks for the reply- I was hoping it was operator error. It makes me wonder why such a nice unit is so limited in this area. What's the point of having the WAAS enabled if a person can only see a 100' scan? Looks like Garmin wins my vote again as even the low end e-trex can zoom to the 20' range. RSH

I have always been a Garmin user. I recently bought a Magellan 500LE to basically learn a new system. I like the unit except (for the short battery life compared to my Legend C) I cannot zoom in closer than 100 feet, as opposed to my legend that will let me zoom down to 20'. Is there anything I can do to allow me to zoom in further? All I can do now is set a distance and watch this to zero in on a poi. RSH

Just like the title says. I have a Magellan 500LE with all documentation and original box and very little use. This unit was a gift and I just don't like the format of the Magellans since I have always used legends. I would be interested in trading this for a legend/venture/vist C or above. This is practically brand new so please don't bother wanting to trade your scratched screen receiver- I hate scratches. I use a Dell Axim X3. The Dell's are USB and this unit operates flawlessly. This would be a bit overkill for a cache only PDA as mine has built in wireless so I can text message and I also use it as an MP3 player when travleing. I bought mine used from a guy here in this forum. At the time he had several of these items. The members screen name is: Scott-N8ZUS and he had some good deals on several different types of units. I suggest an e-mail or PM to this gentleman. The last I can remember he had some Dell axim x5 32MB 300 MHz models for $85.00 shipped.
