  1. Update: due to the diligence of the local police, 2 of our stolen items have been recovered (laptop and ipad). But not my bag or Garmin, I guess the 16 yo thief has no interest in geocaching. He has been arrested on 37 counts of burglary from the campground. Common belief is that the whole bag would have been binned. I still have hopes it may have been thrown in bushland or sand dunes near the camping ground. Thanks for your help everyone.
  2. To be sure! Good caching karma here especially from Western Australia! many thanks!
  3. TB #1 TB #2 This one is still showing as at the event as I had not had a chance to log it as taken yet. Thanks for any help you can give me.
  4. Hi all, my first time here, with a problem. Last month I had my geobag stolen (as I slept, next to my bed while camping, but that's another story). I have dealt with the loss of my Garmin, my accumulation of geotools, my cards and money, prescription sunglasses and medication. But in the bag were also 3 TB's I had only just picked up at an event. Contacted the owners, 1, a local, has marked it as missing. I contacted the owners of the other 2, to ask for the tracking codes so I can try and replace them. No reply, inactive cachers. I contacted them again, asking if they can be marked as missing so they are removed from my inventory, No reply. What else can I do? I dont want them on my inventory forever!
  5. Thanks GeoTrekker26! You mean the trash on my mac, RHS of task bar? Did that! I also reset the settings on the Garmin, was out with only 5 caches loaded and still got the Low Memory popup .... ETA: Got it! Plugged in Garmin, THEN clicked trash icon, got a huge list of caches to empty! Nowhere on the online manual had it mentioned it, so hope my experience is useful to others!
  6. Everytime I load up new caches on my Etrex 10, I delete the previously loaded caches. Did this today, then I get the message as I try to send the second cache: "There is not enough free disk space on /Volumes/GARMIN/Garmin/gpx/ . Please free up some space and try again" As well as this, I often get "Memory Low" messages when out in the field. I typically only load up about 10 caches at a time, and delete them by plugging in to laptop and accessing it this way. I am a bit of a noob and worried I might delete necessary exe files! Is there somewhere else where I can delete stuff?
