  1. After reading the thread I have to agree that it would be nice to have a way to adopt a cache and show it by the cache name. This process should accound for caches that are abandoned as well as for caches that an owner is willing to give it up. It may be that the owner has moved out of the area and has no way to maintain a cache. The owner if they wanted to, could put the cache up for adoption or archive it and take it with them to a new location. Having never placed a cache, I think a part of the agreement on listing the cache should have some stipulation about reassigning the cache if it is deemed abandoned. That way, the owner can't come back and say you never told me. My 2 cents worth. -- Hendro
  2. I have downloaded all the waypoints for the state I am in, but would really like to not rename hundreds of waypoints after I get them loaded. It would be nice if the waypoint names were differenciated based on type. For example, GCxxxx-V would be a vertual cache GCxxxx-M would be a multicache GCxxxx-L would be a letterbox cache GCxxxx-O would be a offset cache etc. These extensions could be added when a new cache is created. Sometimes I have a day to do caching and sometimes I just have a lunchbreak. I usually just look for the closest cache to where I am located. It would be nice to know the type of cache I'm looking for a head of time. Hendro
