well I played around with it and it really doesn't have the stats, I want. It could have frequency of traffic, amount of trackables, travel bugs vs geocoins. I think that would be neat to compare to other caches out there.

I agree, micros can be a pain. I cache with my 3 year old and he likes the swag as well. I end up doing a pocket query and from there you can pick the cache size. That seems to help a bit. A different icon is another way to avoid them, but there are other options when it comes to cache sizes.

So on the member features it says that we can suggst some new member features. So I had one idea (actually I had 2 but I can only remember one ), that I would be interested in. The idea is to have a past visits section on geocache pages of previous visited travel bugs or trackables. I think it would be neat to see the 'traffic' per cache, especially the older ones. One could argue that it is contained in the log history but with a list of traffic, the trackables would be linked to the individual trackable page. Thoughts? Abe

I've been to a cache that had this too. It's a great idea, the only problem is that they fill up fast (if that is really a problem).

No - problem - it is easy. Hook up the Colorado in mass storage mode - it will appear as a drive. From any cache listing page you can download the GPX file - put it in the [drive]:\garmin\gpx folder on the Colorado. or.... Take the unzipped GPX file that is the result of a pocket Query and put it in the same folder. http://www.markwell.us/pq.htm for a tutorial. You can have up to 2000 geocaches spread across up to 200 GPX files on that unit. Unhook and go caching!! Wow! that was a fast reply! Thanks, I can't wait to get home and give that a try. It sounds like I don't really need to struggle with the software afterall.

I'm having a similar problem and decided not to create a new topic, but rather expand on this one. I recently bought a Garmin Colorado 300T and can transfer geocahces alright, but cannot for the life of me get the cache size or hints/logs to transfer to the GPS. I have tried both EasyGPS and GSAK. Niehter of them work for me. I prefer using EasyGPS, but all teh setting I tweek cannot get them to transfer. How are other Geocachers going paperless and adding these to their 'Geocaching friendly' GPS's? One note, the Garmin manual has very minimal info on geocaching. The communication between Garmin and Groudspeak is good, but there needs to be more support for issues and directions such as these.

I hear ya on the soap bubbles. I had that in one of my caches once. That was a big mess. Having hid a few caches myself, I would say that the cards have their pros and cons. Pros - you can see a bit of personality of who's been at the cache. Con- The paper ones usually get dirty/wet faster, which means they leave a mess in the bottom of the container. I'm fine with laminated ones or other clever ones like wooden nickels or poker chips.
