Everything about the cache was virtual....even the claimed coordinates...hes not responsible for irresponsibility of others...hell this probably falls under 1st amendment free speech...

Virtual caches in a wilderness area are not legal? Then Backpacker Magazine (and the like) must be in deep **** when they publish artilces and photographs of....say Grizzly Lake in the Trinity Alps...then publish letters from people who describe the experience of their visit. Sounds virtual to me.

if foreskin really wants to protect the wilderness...stay the hell out! To the guy who was going to be "Deputized" to write tickets...try writing a ticket to someone tellin u to kiss my ash! Rangers are not going to hand out power to enforce regs. just think of the liablity not to mention the judge throwing it back in the face of the agency who started the mess. any caches we place are vulnerable to someone with a chip on their shoulder...life is a *****...then we marry one....

I was in REI a few months ago and they had Mt. Whiney benchmarks for sale...around 20 dollars. does anyone know who makes or distrbutes them. looks like a great paper weight...maybe a gift?

does the GPS need to be hooked up to your computer for mapsource to work properly? I have missing tools on the bar...cant establish waypoints or print out any maps...
