I would say your first step would be to think of some interesting goals for your Travel bug, then a name and an actual TB piece, Then go to where it says gear on the home page and order you TB tags.. As Far as getting the TB started once it's ready to travel, activate the TB by grabbing it and placing it into your inventory" Your Cache Page" Then pysically place it in a cache and log it into that cache for a cacher to find.... When working with a TB you have to log 2 pages, the the actual cache page "found cache dropped of blah blah TB" place the TB on the cache page from your inventory...and make a note on the TB page. IT could be a good story, but why would you take the time to write it. esp on the cache board! I believe it, I have read alot on native people of all different cultures, they study the body language of animals and learn to basically think like them...I think if it wasn't a native I would think it was a crock of. Why? You could have someone who runs up hundreds of finds on 1/1's and locationless caches, while others spend their time bagging a few challenging caches. How can you compare the two? I have a unity knot sytle loop made from parachute cord, 6 keys, a handy dandy bottle opener,and 5 of those dadgum store savings cards, petco, stop and hop, shaws, cvs and block buster......I hate big heavy key chains......grrrrrh I had the geo compass but the ring kept popping off...... Ok Ok this sounds a bit weird but.....Bring up your intake of garlic in your diet and this will help also, same with your dog if your hiking with him, put some garlick in your doggs food. Not only is it good for you it help ward of ticks/bugs... It may sound like an old wivies tale but it has worked for me.... Actually I am hosting pics on geocities,but i have never had a problem with linking to them in the past ----using other sites..I have checked the url and its dead on... The only thing I am mis understanding here in the tags -with the geo in it????? .... this is what I'm doing. I'm looking to restock my empty cache pack, I'm going to get my usual gadets as trade items, but i was wondering if cachers would like to find f/food gift certs or books on tape in the caches? There are a few caches in my area that are in cruise spots, but to be honest I have never run into any trouble while there, don't get me wrong I have seen gay couples while hiking there but not groups of them... I guess I would just deal with it if I ran into the situation... Markwell, I have tried to link to pictures on my website , so that they show up in my post, like you see in the thread on wild mushrooms ,but all I get is the white box with the red X, why is that ??? I have checked the link I typed it correctley and I'm using JPG , the only thing I could thing of was the pic size, but if I'm linking the picture size shouldn't matter ?? RIGHT?
