  1. Both my kids have there own accounts 7&9. They go online and find caches for us to do. The only down side my son wants me to get him a premium membership.
  2. All my logs show that I am about 1350 miles from my home coordinates. Just went to the monthly Oklahoma Geocachers Morning Meeting. Should be caching in the Hudson Valley next weekend.
  3. Gone 8 days in a row and did 36 caches. Was in a city far from home and nothing better to do.
  4. I'm going during the last week of March. I've been to the falls back in the BC (before caching). Thanks for the zip. Also thanks for starting this thread because I would of waited night before I left to start looking.
  5. I joined in Sept 2002 did 3 caches then broke my leg at home. After 180 days I managed 2 virtuals in then went another 42 before doing a traditional. So I went 222 days between traditonal caches. Now I try to stay away from the house and go caching. It's an safety issue.
  6. Hey I'm begiing to have a great collection of little Swiss army knifes. All of them found in caches. For the kids part I gave my daughter a pink one when she was five and my son a bigger model when he was 7. They still have all there fingers eye's etc. two years later.
  7. It's the hotel in Armonk where you can rent a bike and get to Maddening rowd and Childs Play. It used to be a Ramada but it just changed it's name. For Where's George you start in North White Plains and end up in West Harrison . It was a big Battlelfield. To the thread I was plannig on doing donner and blitzen now I have a somthing else to look for.
  8. I download the 500 nearest caches to my house that I havn't done. I would hate to do that by hand. You can find gps's for around the same price that connect to computers.
  9. There was a micro walking distance from where we were staying.
  10. Us army 83 thru 87 spent mostly fixing radios in Buamholder Germany. In the former 8th ID. Dad was in Roal Dutch army stationed in Indonesia.

  12. Worf's around 80lbs.He's a NewF/Lab mix. I find people who see him bounching thru the woods tend to get nervious. Put his backpack on everbody assumes he must be friendly. I usually just pack about 4 pints of water and his cloth bowl. which we wind up drinking. The dog seem to likes watever water he finds better.
  13. When I first started caching I saw cameras in caches thought it was a neat idea. So I put one in mine. So 17 months later I have a disk with a lot of pictures of strangers.   14. I used metal first aid kits They have a rubber seal but have to be painted. I got about 10 for free. Went to check on one thats been out for 17 months the latches were a little rusted. I also just ordered 10 decons

  17. I have a couple of scratches on the display of my garmin 60cs. Is there anyway of buffing them out. I was thinking of useing a cd cleaner. We took a dive down a hill I got better.
  18. I have a garmin 38 mounted on my dash. In case my car gets broken into . Yellow etrex I bought used over 2 years for 60 bucks I gave my 9 year old geko 201 I'm giving my 7 year old on sat. And I use a 60cs which I bought about 3 months ago.

  20. Your right about the location Harrold. But to find the cache I had to scan through about 44 pages of Kansas Caches. That Kansas was over 44 pages of caches is also pretty amazing
  21. I went to an Oklahoma City Geocachers meeting today. Found out there is an Travel Bug Graveyard where owners of passed away bugs can put the dearly departed to rest: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...32-94e7818cbaa8 The cache location is in Kansas. I never heared of this before?
  22. The reason NY has High numbers and NJ low . Is that NJ cachers do all their searching while at work in NY.
  23. I think the United Kingdom one is a Hoot. Since I live 4 miles from New England I use that a bunch. I've posted threads on Great Plains. I go through most for various reasons.
