Thank you for the reply and advice. When we went out today i had turned "lock on road" off and switched to "hiking", is there a difference? I'm determined to make this work as we like to cache where the phone doesn't work and the battery life is better on the GPS than on the phone too.

Hi All, My wife and I cache on both my IPhone 6 and Garmin GPSMAP 62ST and i can not for the life of me figure out how to make the GPS as accurate as the phone. Please help me to understand how to set the GPS properly. Thanks, Garry

Afternoon All, I have a Garmin GPSMAP 62ST and use GSAK. today i loaded a single cache from Geocaching.com onto the GPS and after coming home i could not figure out how to import the find into GSAK. what am i doing wrong? Garry

HI all, We got a Garmin GPSMap 62st from Santa this Christmas and have pretty much figured it out but have one question. Is birds eye mapping worth the money? We cache on my iPhone 6 in town but use the GPS when we are in the back country where the cell phone has no service. Thanks.

Hi All, Merry Christmas! Santa brought us a new Garmin GPSMap 62ST and I am loading caches into it but hit a roadblock... i filled it up really fast. Now i have a sandisk 2GB micro SD and the GPS will not "see" the card nor will my laptop when the cad is installed into the garmin unit. it's an older card but still works fine, i formatted it to FAT32 but no luck. please help. Hi All, Signed up for my premium membership today and am trying to create a pocket query and the website keeps sending me in circles. i accepted all the terms etc for Groundspeak etc. but it keeps telling me i need to accept the terms to create a pocket query. please tell me what i have done wrong. And now it works... oh well false alarm i guess. thanks garry
