  1. BTW, I failed to mention that this power trail was not in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Each cache had its own unique hide. The power caching trail took us upon a mountain ridge and down into a real true to life desert oasis with palm trees and water then back out again. This is a far cry from lamp post hides.
  2. This power caching trail we did this past Sunday was the highlight of our caching experience this year. Are you listening Jeremy? Enough said…
  3. Bill, Gary beat you to it..check out this link: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...85-5c803339bd05
  4. Thanks Steve for the publicity. We will soon have to either cache more or change the text to: “Got to catch up with this dang counter in cache finds”. It’s probably going to be the text change, we will never keep up with it now. BTW, will everyone that visits our profile send us a buck.
  5. We will be visiting your area July 26 thru the 30 if any of the locals would like to cache with some So. Cal. Cachers. I am available to cache Tuesday to Thursday sunrise to sunset while the other half of our team is in a seminar. She can cache with us after she is done each day. Drop us an e-mail before Sunday 7-25. Will be staying at the Nugget. Thanks
  6. Just keep saying to yourself "Geocaching Admin. Folks are my friends" , close your eyes and click your red ruby slippers three times and POOF!!! your cache will be approved… BTW.........perks, you guys need to get rid of that 3rd eye cat avatr. Looks like something you guys brought home from work.
  7. Where do you think they get the money to buy hardware for up grades? Some other web sites that are also free have restricted hours during high traffic usage for paying members. So a few people drop their membership due to cost rises will be more than made up for in additional membership sign ups for premium services. Where else in this world have you had so much fun for a measly 30 bucks a year? If you are worried about $10 to $20 more a year, drop your cable TV service, get out and cache more.
  8. Maybe a premium member rate hike is in order, and I for one will be willing to pay it. Say an extra $10 to $20 annually and restrict web site usage to premium members during high traffic times.
  9. Our new signature item is a wooden nickel. Thanks to Big Bad Trucker for the Wooden Nickel idea. They are light to carry and cheap. Made by the Old Time Wooden Nickel Company in San Antonio TX. Great bunch of people there.

  11. Sorry Jeremy, I just figured out the found/place function. like I said before SWEET !!!!
  12. What are the pocket queries going to look like now? Is there any way to remove your caches placed and or found from the list? Maybe the cache dates that you found should be red and the caches that you have not found should be green. Hmmm just a thought. But I really like the look.
  13. This a prank I did for a guy at work. It's a Voooorella Clamp and THe Varela Clamp He wonders why all the guys at work are gathered around the computer cracking up from time to time. He still has no idea.

  18. An old man lived alone in Idaho. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, Bubba, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament. Dear Bubba, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me. Love, Dad A few days later he received a letter from his son. Dear Dad, For heavens sake, Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the BODIES. Love, Bubba At 4 AM the next morning, FBI agents and local police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man recieved another letter from his sonl Dear Dad, Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances. Love, Bubba

  20. Was wondering if some of you fellow cachers could post some pictures of camouflaged and unusual cache containers. I think it would be neat to see just how creative us geocachers have been when making our caches.
