    Hints

Yes I agree with the rest, Ask away. I would not mind being asked about mine or ones that I have found.
  2. I can only echo Chris n Maria post. make sure you have the correct gear with you and the route in the gps and enjoy it. I would list Scafell Pike a cache to peak them all. (Virtual Cache) as one of the best caches I have done and one of the hardest. You will have to let us know how you got on and if it was good. I might have to put it on my to do list. Good luck
  3. Thanks Sparky my headache seems a little insignificant now :) (I had to have a look)
  4. Thanks John I Have just bought one (as you know ) . I would have prefered a V but was happy to have a "Long in the tooth III . the reception is better than my yellow etrex.
  5. Congrats from me. Thats nice going maybe you should enter for the CoTM
  6. Congrats from me . 72 in January is amazing (get the email sent in )
  7. The table will list everybody who enters. and who ever does the most will be top. I would be happy for a top 10
  8. I am organising a cacher of the month table on G:UK and thought I would also post the information on here to see if anybody would be interested in taking part in a bit of harmless competition. All you need to do is send to me your caching name and the amount of finds, hides, travel bugs found, travel bugs released and trigpoints logged in January 2004. More information can be found on the Cacher of the Month main page. The results table will be found here around the 15th of each month. No prizes to be won, its just for fun so people can see how their month compared to other cachers. You can contact me using the email button or PM button below this post or by the email address on the entry page here. So if you have done 1 or 100 please send them in and be counted
  9. 347 with in 50 miles here middle of the UK
  10. I've suggested many times, and once again: Geophotographing. Like it or a Geophoto cache. I think they have their place on geocaching. some of them can be fun. By the way Captian Morgan I have been waiting to geophoto log one of yours locationless caches any idea when it will be re-available ? thanks cant send you a PM it wont work is says no member with that name !!!
  11. Is this a reason why they are not allowing them?? I Post pics with most of my logs now and love locationless caches so I have a few photos uploaded, but was under the asumption that there was no limit to the amount of photos you could use. only the size of the image was limited.
  12. All I can say is well done you "virgin raider"

    Search Engine

Its easy if you use the Search by latitude/longitude format:. just use multimap or whatever then get the lat/long from there.
  15. That must be me, as the original post doesn't count smurfy boys right (there has to be a first time )
  16. Welcome Murp Dont try to fight it just run with it
  17. Congrats from me. I have changed the Hall of Fame table I have been working on maybe I should get ready to put him on 800 to save time later. Keep it up John
  18. My hardest cache was this one Scafell Pike 6.1/2 miles and 2969ft of asecent. Very nice indeed
  19. Bring on Yellow Jeep Fever II It wont kill anybody will it?
  20. Yes I read it . They say take a bearing of 281 deg and STICK TO IT . when it should be 1)From the summit trig pillar walk 150 metres on a grid bearing of 231° to near the top of Gardyloo Gully, (first marker pole). 2)Then follow a grid bearing of 282° to clear the plateau. (A second marker pole is situated 300m along this second bearing, at the top of McLean's Steep.) or way point it on the way up like I did
  21. What about this? it looks fake but I was there when I took it . The flash went off but did not reach the castle. Not everything is what it seems. I have been waiting to log a locationless for a while but its showing as "This cache is temporarily unavailable" But its still been logged 5 times since it was temporarily archived in December. I wonder if they will be deleted?
