Using the search item as the title would give some of them away wouldn't it?

I think thats a good way to go about it. Whatever you decide make sure you mark all over the cache what it is and contact info. I would also think that if you looked hard enough you could find some waterproof containers that are neither tupperware or ammo cans.

Does anyone know if the Detailed maps from Magellan are anywhere near the quality as the Garmins? I hear or read that the Garmin maps are 'clearer' and are more up to date. I don't really care if they are clearer but being up to date is pretty important. But. I have been enjoying the out of date map on my GM100 because it still shows an old railway by my house which has helped me find trails, caches and benchmarks. If I were to get a new GPSr I may lose that feature (not really a feature I know but it is nice) Anyway, thanks for the input and keep it coming.

Numbers, length, glue, I don't know What I do know is that we need the link to page one, two, three, four, so, on, and, so, forth on the main forum page so that you don't have to go to the thread (page one) then go to whatever page you want. I have been on many forums that have this feature and it is nice. I'm sure I will be posting/replying to comments on page one where the thread has gone to multiple pages for a while until I get used to it.

Yup, unless it was last updated with a survey crew using GPS or the like it can be quite a ways off. I have come a cross a Benchmark that was about 200' off. Like I said the ones that were on were updated recently. As long as your using the correct format you should be fine.

GOT GPS, Could you post a small review comparing both units. I am going to Cabelas on Saturday to look at those two and they both have pros and cons. I need more space than my GM100 can afford and want the expandable memory of the Platinum but like the fine detail and routing of the V Aren't the maps better and more up to date with the Garmin products? I am also in the Detroit area, maybe we can get together tomorrow and you can show me the two GPSr's, just a thought. thanks umc

The 'Travelin' Cache' is now in my care and I will be placing it on Saturday but you will have to stay tuned for any clues or coords. Thanks to all this has been a fun one.

I raced from work to Maybury hoping I would get a crack at this one. Once at the first coord I was feverishly searching for the film container waiting for the next cacher to come down the trail, like I said on the cache page, I looked at the base of every tree out there very nice they are. Good job I liked the clue even though it didn't help me all to much. Thanks for the good work.
