  1. I would have to say my least inspired cache would have been "Bri" Miller's Cache Basically this was hidden in a small park, in a small town. The reason I hid this was because there was an empty spot on the map of nearby caches. This park fell right into that spot. It must be my OCD that I just couldn't stand to see that empty spot. I pulled this one eventually because of its insipidness. This is followed closely by Wait A Minute As the page states, I hid this one because I had plans with and was waiting on a friend who was running about 3 hours late. It disappeared after some flooding. I don't know for sure if it washed away or was muggled. Last but not least... Where's Waldo Placed in the small town of Waldo. There's not much there, but I liked the play on the town name. I did take the time to paint the ammo can red and white stripes to fit the theme though. It was eventually muggled.
  2. Just testing my signature....it keeps coming out strangely.
  3. I've visited a few National Parks, but never realized the "passport" program existed. I really like this idea, and just happen to have a few unactivated travelbugs laying around in need of a goal. Edit to add: I've got 2 passport books on order. One for the bug and one for me.
  4. Well mine is car related, and is probably going to bore some folks here.....but here goes. This is more or less copied over from the old thread, but cleaned up a little for readability Let me start off by saying I'm really into racing....basically if it goes fast, I'm interested. Anyhow I do a little drag racing from time to time as a hobby. A couple years back I bought an '89 Mustang Convertible that I was going to strip down, and convert into a more race dedicated car. It had the little 4-cylinder motor, and didn't run. The guy I bought it from told me it blew the head gaskets. No big deal as I was going to scrap the motor anyhow and replace it with something bigger. A friend of mine who told me about the car started calling me Mr. 4 Banger, poking fun at the fact that my ‘Stang had a much smaller engine than his. So after a little time of searching for the motor I wanted, and coming up empty handed, I decided that I wanted to drive it, since it had sat in my garage for a few months. I started to tear the engine apart to fix the head gaskets, and discovered they were fine and that one of the pistons had blown up. It was laying in the oil pan in chunks. At that point the same friend started calling me Mr. 3 Banger due to the lost piston/cylinder. Later, I went ahead and yanked the engine entirely because I was bored....again that friend then started calling me Mr. 0 (Typed as the number zero, pronounced Mr. Oh) since I now had zero cylinders in my car. I eventually got fed up and sold it on e-bay. I told you it was long and boring
  5. Great looking coin! PM sent. Thanks!

Active caches 13 Watchers 39 ______________ Average 3 watchers/active cache Inactive caches 12 Watchers 10 ________________ Average .833 watchers/inactive cache Total caches 25 Watchers 49 ________________ Average 1.96 watchers/total caches
  7. Oh no..... I remember when this was posted in the above Markwelled thread. For some reason I seem to get addicted to that little site. I had forgotten all about it....until now. Well...here we go again.
  8. I remember when I was a kid we had a battery charger for alkaline batteries. This was long before the rechargeables we use today were commercially available. I don't remember having any problems with it...and that same house is still standing today, but looking back on it, I'm not sure that it was the best idea.
  9. I assume it's me? I had all intentions of heading up there, but I fell asleep on the couch after work, and didn't wake up until around 9p. Oops.
  10. I'm on Paltalk right now and for whatever reason my IM programs don't play well with it. I haven't bothered to figure it out yet.
  11. That's no fair, you have kids, so you're up on all the latest tricks.
  12. What? Why? *Sings "Wheels on the Bus" loudly in 4LC's general direction*
  13. I've sent a bunch of e-mail today. None to anyone on here, but I just thought I would jump on the bus with everyone else being excited about sending e-mails.
  14. Neither have I.....but I assumed that's to whom Eleanor was referring.
  15. Ever since he moved there, he thinks he's too good for Ohio.
  16. Dunno yet. Sorta depends on how cold it's supposed to be that night.
  17. C'mon now, no reason to pout....It's just Ben. By the way, I'm in for the event.
  18. I take it you mind is starting to go in your old age? I DO need to get up your way to snag your new and improved travel bug resort and spa.
  19. I keep meaning to get up there for that event, but I never have. For me, It's not much further away than heading down to Columbus. Maybe I'll just have to check to see what's going on Thursday.
  20. When you put it that way, maybe I need to figure out a way to make Ben have to pay for my pathtags, instead of the other way around.
