  1. Hi That sounds reasonable to me. A category proposal by the OP or other interested party seems reasonable. I don't think either post by the OP would fit into the category of proposal, hence I suspect the lack of support to date. Regards Andrew
  2. Hi Have to agree BTW there is a category called, Brewpubs. Would this cover what the OP is seeking? Andrew
  3. Hi Given this forum topic area, is this just a "let of steam" posting or a category proposal? Just curious, as I a sure there is already a brewery category or similiar. Regards Andrew
  4. G'day What about an optional list of information to provide, maybe along the lines of Jake's list? Hopefully will encourage a good attempt at providing as much information as possible. All that said, I am for this category and could add a couple of waymarks including one which comes and goes .... it eventually disappears before returning up to 10 years latter. Goes on a ghost voyage :-) Regards Andrew
  5. From the Waymarking.com FAQ: "What happens to all the old locationless caches? We are inviting all locationless cache owners to transfer their active cache to the new site, provided it fits within the general concept of Waymarking. We're giving a 2 month grace period for locationless cache owners to step up and convert their listings. After that it will be open season at Waymarking.com for these category themes. On January 1st, 2006, we will be archiving all locationless cache listings on Geocaching.com. All previous find logs will be preserved. What about virtual caches? No new virtual geocaches will be listed on Geocaching.com, but if there is a suitable category for submitting your location on Waymarking.com, please feel free to submit a new waymark. If you are a Premium Member and no category exists, you can create a new category for posting your waymark. " Reading this, the Locationless logs will be preserved. Regards Andrew
  6. G'Day I think you will find proposals are not currently been accepted. See the pinned notice at the top of this forum area. Regards Andrew

    Act Say Hi

Hi I think the OP is a touch confused. They ask about how others where going in the ACT and I pointed them to the FORUMS. There response seem to be off-tangent given their initial posting. Maybe they are confused about the forums and the main site's different objectives. Regards Andrew

  23. G'day Not meaning to hijack this thread, but have a related question. Wondering what the view is on taking more than one travel bug from a cache at the same time. We have a Stargate cache here which sometimes has a few incoming travel bugs in it and wonder if taking more than one at a time is acceptable. Thanks in advance Andrew
  24. Hi Welcome. There are numerous software around that you can use to interface with your Extrex. I personally use GSAK as it is a very good tool in my opinion for managing cache data, but other tools such as EasyGPS are popular as well. You will also find links to options at Geocaching.com and other resources at Aushiker.com Hope this helps. Regards Andrew
