Well in my opinion puzzle caches are just like terrain/difficulty decision, if you feel like it, do it, if not, dont. Geocaching is not like pokemon, you dont have to catch them all, or find them all in this case.

We had a travel bug go missing ourselves. "A tribute to scotter-our family pet). It was in honor of our dog which was a minature daschound(a weiner dog if you will). Understand, that he is not dead, but we gave him to my dad who recently had lost his best friend(a dog-15yrs old). We are thinking about putting it in the travel bug graveyard. We have the backup dogtag, but feel like it would be best to just put it to rest. We dont know when we may do this, because its last log was only 4months ago, but its not in the cache it is suppose to be in. So we may give it 6 months or so before we do. So to those of you who are missing a travel bug, we understand your sorrow. And hope that someday your travel bug will show back up.

This may already be on here somewhere, if it is my apologies, but.... In the "my account details" section, where it says I plan to attend in the next 30 days, it shows events I plan to attend, but after I attend them, its still there saying I plan to attend. Is there something I need to do, or is this something that still needs to be worked out from the new upgrade.

It seems to me that this is no different than fishing, hunting, playing sports, or any number of things people do for fun.I like to do all these things, and geocaching is no different. I just plain like to do it. I have family I cache with, friends I cache with, and sometimes do it along, as a peaceful outing. Sometimes i think that people who think they cant afford(I say think they cant, because you can spend alot, or very little)put it down because they cant do, or people who dont know how to relax and enjoy nature, or and you have some that think if your not making money, your wasting your time. I say thanks for the game/sport, and have fun caching

This may have been asked somewhere else,if it has sorry. But I have a garmin 60csx, and I have the mapsource program that came with it, downloaded to my laptop.Does anyone know how(if possible) to make them talk to one another.That is, shows you traveling along the road on the laptop.I've seen it on other programs, but just wandering if I can use the mapsource that came with the gps.Thanks.

I wander how much trouble it would be, when a cache gets published, that a copy goes to the local police department in that area.

Does anyone know if there is a way to put a "counties that I've cached in" within a state, on your profile page. Just seems like a good idea. I thought I've seen it before, but wasn't to sure.
