  1. A PQ loaded into GSAK (or any other program) will show the last 4 logs. Scan the list for DNF logs.
  2. What is an Intercache?? Is Wherigo ever going to get an update? Using the camera would be a great add-on!
  3. I think it's UBB code. [red] Red Text [/red] [red] [/red]
  4. Wish I could try it, but it requires iOS6. Is there a reason it's required?
  5. Look at your email. You should get a found note for each one. See if there's one for every day.
  6. What part are you looking for? I have some extra parts around here from when I rebuilt one.
  7. A quick way to find it is to click "Hide a Cache"
  8. Ammo can? That's waaaay too big to be a cache!
  9. ...Because nobody has tried that yet! There's this thing called "Search" you should try it sometime!
  10. I thought there was a Virtual there at one point. Either way, you can't log it now.
  11. I always put good details in the reviewer note. Always. How it was hidden and what kind or size of cache and etc etc. It really work well for me. The smoother the communication, the faster it will get published. Agreeing with Palmetto and SwineFlew. When someone posts an initial reviewer note saying "This matchstick container is placed respectfully on the border of the cemetery, ziptied to a fence, and is hidden with the groundskeeper's permission," I immediately go hit the publish button. Maybe the OP's reviewer is trying to increase compliance with that practice. Maybe the form should say "Please describe the hide and container, along with any other useful info" at the Note to Reviewer box. Right now it says: This really doesn't mean (to me) TELL EXACTLY WHAT'S HIDDEN AND HOW. I always posted something like "On state park land with permission away from sensitive locations." Can you deny a cache if I say it's a PVC pipe hanging on a branch by a black wire? Or a glass jar? That's not against the guidelines.
  12. The water around the island is shallow, so you will need to wade to reach dry land after your boat "bottoms out". I'm not going to waste the effort to add them - anybody who used a boat should know this might happen.
  13. I agree, but we are forced to answer them every time.
  14. Both of my local reviewers have a form letter that gets posted to each cache when you submit it for review. While I think some of the questions are not needed (Once I got asked what was in the cache to start off!) Maybe the basic questions can be incorporated into the Note to Reviewer part of the submission. This will save the reviewer from having to post it and disable the cache while waiting for a response. I'm sure it would be possible for a different set of questions to pop up depending on what state it's listed in. I don't expect this to happen, but the programers must be sitting around doing nothing if they decided to add 31 more silly icons...
  15. I don't have the option to pick several Attributes while setting up an event. I'm holding an event on an island and wanted to use the wading, swimming, and no fresh water. Is this a bug, or overlooked because most events don't need them?
  16. Yes, you can. You just can't list it on the Groundspeak listing website.
  17. Just checked, yes it was on there. No idea how as I've never used it. Also had one of my own, and a cache 2,000 miles away???
  18. I was trying to find the cache listing of an archived cache. I know who owned it, but it didn't show under their hides. I was able to find it by GC#, so it's not retracted. When I click on the owner I go to their profile and it still doesn't show up. Any idea what would cause this? I don't want to post the GC# as I don't want to restart the drama this cache caused.
  19. Works fine for me, but I haven't updated it in months. Also running iOS 5
  20. If you are talking only 20 feet, first check your coords. That's within the error of the average GPS. You have a slight chance if there's something between them like a river or a swamp. Years ago I got one at 400' because there was a highway between them. But that was before powertrails.

Lamely Placed Cache. (Lamp Post Cache. Lift the base and look near the bolts)
  22. No it's to hopefully help improve the way caches are published I'd rather have set protocols which everyone can follow and understand than the current system ie if you lodge a traditional cache you receive a response within 5 days and you must reply to any issues within a further 5 days and the cache will be published 15 days from the list for review date. To me that's better than the hop scotch system at the moment If it takes several days for each back-and-forth then something is wrong. I've hidden over 200 caches and on average they're listed the next morning. Many are looked at within hours. Most of the time I hide a cache in the morning, list it in the afternoon, and that night get an email saying that everything is fine and it will be listed first thing in the morning. (This is to stop FTF hunters from going out after the parks close.) If I don't have a note of some kind within 18 hours I start to worry.
  23. How is it not possible? Another website I use has a "100 Year" membership. It's the cost of ~8 years or so. I'm sure there would need to be a small legal disclaimer, it wouldn't be the first site to shut down after collecting lifetime memberships.
