Mein Erster ist wohl jetzt auch endlich verschwunden. Und ja ich warte seit über einem Jahr darauf, dass ich fest stellen muss, dass es ihn nicht mehr gibt. Bin begeistert, dass er 2'000 km hingebracht hat. Ich habe mal einen TB bei einem Umzug verloren. Nach fast einem Jahr wiedergefunden durch Zufall... hab ihn sofort freigelassen.. und er kam weg. Manchmal läuft's schief... manchmal geht's gut.

It happened twice to us in 130 caches... but we are mostly in rural areas, so I guess less likely to happen than in a city.

We like to take the bikes out. Sometimes we drive somewhere and take the bikes. Or the dogs and then go for a long walk. The cache is my incentive to go out... but the main purpose for me is going out.

Wir brauchen die iPhones mit den 2 Groundspeak Apps und sind sehr zufrieden. Wir haben eine "power bar" damit wir das Telefon wieder aufladen können. Mit dem Empfang hatten wir bis jetzt kein Problem. Wir würden nur umsteigen falls wir mit langen Bergwanderungen anfangen. Aber hier wo wir leben gibt's keine Berge, von dem her zur Zeit nicht nötig.

We get the notifications by e-mail, but they're usually when one of us is at work or when we're about to go to bed... but, I'm keeping my eyes open for the one that we can get to I guess, for us it's just something fun to try if convenient, but not a necessity.

We're about to place our first cache and I plan on checking the logs. There's a difference between a newbie who forgot to bring a pen (happened to us the first time, attached photo log and knew it's possible CO won't accept that) and someone who attempts a T5 cache and logs it without being able to get to it. The whole point of T5 is that not everyone can do it. Or so I thought.
