  1. There are still some caches out there that refer to it. Working on one now (GC5C6YQ) that use a cipher wheel from that page.
  2. The Ottawa GAG6 event started at 6:00 p.m. April 8, 2005. the 31st event is this October. It was twice a year for a while but is now annual. Tick & Nammie started the Go & Get Em events back in 2002. They ran them until GAG 10, and past the torch to the newly formed CCC, which kicked off GAG 11
  3. When I tried from the Tim's around the corner Saturday night I got stuck at question 1 and couldn't find a way past. I cached Sunday with Londonwesty and Hakliva.
  4. My beef with the labs is that I need data which I do not have on my phone. At a recent MEGA I was able to find several of the answers to the adventure labs. I was able to find a wifi spot within the zone, but it was set up so that without the first answer I could not continue to the ones I had found. So I have not been able to log the adventure labs from my last 2 MEGA events. I now have the ability to create one, but no way to do them.
  5. When attempting to access the Wherigo builder wiki I am getting this message. Classroom and Free Wikis We regret to inform you that Wikispaces Classroom and Free Wikis will be decommissioned on 31st July 2018.
  6. I am having the same trouble, no slider appears to adjust the radius of search. I tried saving it and going back latter to make changes and it still does not appear. I'm running Firefox on a linux machine.
  7. I just place a cache that requires somethng to extend your reach. I used a length of bailer twine and a piece of wire found on site to fashion a hook. Some finders have used a magnet instead of a hook. The cache I got the idea from was solved with a paperclip. There is now a suggestion that the terrain should be a 5 since a 'special tool' is required, even though it is on a path frequented by kindergarden students on their way to school. So add string plastic bag - can be cut to make a string shoe laces fishing line lanyard paperclip coathanger fish hook to the list or put some cord and stiff wire in your TOTT kit
  8. I've recently found a few muggle stones in caches, but they don't look big enough to scare anyone off.
  9. My new unit has arrived! I have downloaded the Ibycus Topo 4.0 ISO file. I am running SuSE, but also have access to Debian, Ubuntu, or Centos, or Virtualbox images. I created a mount point sudo mkdir /mnt/gpsmaps I am then able to I mount the Ibycus ISO file via loopback device sudo mount IbycusTopo4.0.iso -o loop /mnt/gpsmaps When I plug in the gps, it opens using the default drivers and I can see the Ibycus files and the GPSMAP62sc in dolphin split windows I then copied the Ibycus files (img,MDX, and TDB ) to the CustomMaps folder on the device. When I disconnect the device I cannot see the custom maps. I checked permissions and the seem to be the same as the birdseye that were preloaded. Any thoughts on what I need to do to access the maps?
