  1. sounds cool, i can do new york if it isn't taken so if you want it here i can take care of it.
  2. this is my first gps and it is great for geocaching. I get within 10 feet of the cache under a decent amount of tree cover. defenetly great for anyone starting out or at a medium level of intrest. Good, tough and water resistant. the case is decent also. note: go to amazon i got it for $99 before shipping. After shipping it was $120 and the case was 10. I also got an unexcpected rebate that ends tomorrow for $30 so i ended up buying it for $100 case and gps.

  5. im a new geocacher and im willing to spend some money on a gps. I've looked into it a bit and this seems like one to get. I just want to get your opinions to make my decision. btw if you know of any places that might have a good deal for it post that also also, would it be smarter just to buy the regular garmin gps instead of the legend?

  8. i read about this in newsday the otherday and thought it would be interesting. I went looking for a cache yesterday without a gps but a had a google earth image of the park with lattitude and longitude marked. I probally couldn't find it because it was a really hard "?" cache. But im off the subject, as a beginner do i really need a gps locater to find standard or multi caches when I can use google earth?
