  1. My Mom has been tagging along as well for a while. She finally got her own GPS and her own username (Hi Bravesfan). We went back to all the caches we did together and added a log for her. We logged together in the cache logs, so I feel she should be able to log them online. What say the jury?

  2. I don't have a PDA but I was wondering if one's account could be set up to download only certain types of caches for EasyGPS? (Without having to go through all 450+/- caches and click each one.) For instance, only download 1-3.5 difficulty caches, no locationless, etc. Basically can I customize what I want to get without going through all the rest?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. You can download from Geocaching.com to EasyGPS.

Easy GPS will only do 25 at a time.

Take from EasyGPS to Geobuddy to merge over 25 files.

Open merged file with EasyGPS and transfer to GPS.

Transfer from GPS to MapSend database.

  4. The easiest way is to download cache waypoints is EasyGPS from the Geocaching.com link. After installing EasyGPS, hook up PC to GPS with cable that came with your MAP 330x and it transfers to EasyGPS. From EasyGPS, download to GPS.

    To enter MANUALLY:

Press and hold MARK/GOTO. Cursor up to NAME line and press ENTER. Type in the Numbers and Letters that ARE the cache description. Highlight OK and press enter.

Highlight LOCATION and press enter. Cursor up or down to change numbers. Press right arrow to go to next number. Press ENTER to go to Next line.

    Press ENTER again.

Elevation is now highlighted. THIS IS OPTIONAL.

    Change as you did LOCATION.

Enter will take you to Message. This also is optional. Input desired message. Highlight OK and

    Press ENTER.

    Highlight SAVE and press ENTER.

Waypoint is now stored in GPS Database under USER.

  6. I have a request of any Arkie from around the Rison area. My dad is buried in Macedonia cemetary and I would appreciate anyone getting the cooord's of his gravesite. I have only been there once to see it. Contact me for further info:

  7. Is there anyway to pull the POI files from the DeLorme SA 8.0 disc to put into Geobuddy or EasyGPS? I have tried the DataSave free trial from Thales/Magellan and the rate of refresh is annoying to me. I really don't want to part with $35.00 for DataSend CD-ROM when I find it annoying and SA 8 is paid for! I am using a MAP 330 with latest upgrades.
