  1. That's a sweet geocoin! Congrats to all the recipients!!
  2. linky http://coord.info/gc1rwwa
  3. I know when some people trade tb's in person they like to 'drop' it into a cache for mileage, but they usually use their own caches. I'd do what Jim suggested and mark them missing or email the person who dropped them and ask them to.
  4. How long before someone can post it here for those of us who really wanted to be at GW7 but couldn't go. Probably Saturday at around 5:31 pm (Central Daylight Time).
  5. Well, since the gentelman who is organizing the event now lives up here, I'd assume he would Of course, if he needs any help he knows who to ask!
  6. I just tried it and it went through no problem. Got the message and looked in my field notes and it was there.
  7. Until DeLorme comes out with their Cache Register widget, the easiest way seems to be by using this website, http://www.findcache.info/pn40/ It can only be used with the Firefox browser. You browse to your gpx file, then click on parse gpx, then send caches. It's a little slow, but it works! If you use GSAK, there's a macro for this as well at http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=11101
  8. The DeLorme forum SimiRich pointed to is a good place to ask. One thing you might try is different usb ports. My laptop won't see the PN-40 on the rear port, only the front.
  9. They have been intermittent for me all afternoon and so I wondered if it was just me not getting into the site... Just an FYI
  10. We had a great time at last year's event! You all do a fantastic job on these! We'll be at Champoeg on this weekend, so we have to miss this one :-(
  11. Although that's just oh so witty perhaps you should read the Forum Guidelines: If you cannot post constructively and respectfully, don't post.
  12. I enjoy the show a lot, it's part of my Monday morning ritual! I can't wait for payday so I can order one of these!
  13. We're gonna try and make this one. It's good to see something positive being done at Discovery Park!
  14. The 'My Finds' query doesn't seem to be working.
  15. go here, http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/ and it'll show you all the queries you have set up. Look for the one that has a day of the week checked and uncheck it.
  16. Hopefully this will me making it's way to the states! live.geocaching.com Check out the Watch Geocaching Live section at the bottom right. Zoom the map out to Germany ;-)
  17. Check different letter/number combos that can look the same. It might look like number zero(0) but be a letter oh(O).
  18. A common problem is selecting the wrong combination of options under the 'That(and)' section. For instance, you can't search for caches that you haven't found and that you have found. No cache will meet the requirement of being found and not found by you and your search will have no results. As jholly pointed out, it's best to not select a day of the week to run, if you leave that unchecked then submit your query, you'll get a message like this "Thanks! Your pocket query has been saved and currently results in 300 caches." Once you know that it does have results, then you can go back the the pocket query, click on the name of your query, select the day of the week, and run it.
  19. We're slowly working on it We scouted the area it was in recently and think it'd be better if it was somewhere different. Homeless camps seem to pop up there and the area is fairly visible from a number of houses.
  20. Does this mean you'll be visiting Seattle while the Maze is here? If so, let us know, we'd love to meet 'n greet (at least, I would, having traded for a couple of your coins in the past). He's going to become a PNW resident. REALLY ?!? or are you teasing us He really is!
