I'm going on a plane Friday, so if someone wants to send me one of these coins, I'll glady take the risk to see if I can get it on the plane.

How can little ol' me get my hands on one of these?
I just set two more free within the past few days. One in Puerto Rico and one in Antigua. GO GET 'EM!!
I told the other half we needed to go on a Caribbean cruise so I could get some geocoins.....needless to say it didn't work We did that cruise last year though....loved it..hope you're enjoying yourselves!!!

Looking for a Red Scout Knife geocoin...anyone? Anyone?

I'm sure I'll be in the minority - but I'd like to see ideas that haven't been done yet.
As you stated, it's similar to the Mailman (not sure of the actual name) coin being worked on now. And on top of that, there are 3 or 4 FTF coins already out there.
I would prefer to see some concepts that haven't been done yet.
I realize I may be in the vocal minority, but since ya asked...
At first I was thinking the same thing, that there's already a few FTF coins out there. But then I thought the FTF hounds probably already have all those, so I'm sure they'd appreciate some new ones. I'm assumming of course that alot of people use FTF coins as FTF prizes. Anyhoo, I like em

FYI: TMA told me the phantom account logged two caches in his area over the weekend. Both were checked by local cachers. No siggy in the logs and no coins in the caches.
It seems he's looking to drop a coin there sometime this week. Log from somewhere in Ohio Tribute to Bob Sacamano
Here for work and a break from Skull Cave. Quick find and Devil Dog likes hides of this sort. I will be around over the next week. Need to find a good cache for one of my Phantom coins -
There's a pinned thread at the top of this forum just for testing avatars

Happy Birthday!! Enjoy the cruise!!

Greets, Those blanks look like what were used for the 2bugs Doubloon coin , Some great ideas, I like the "Etch-o-Matic"
That's exactly what I first thought when I saw these!
(edit) I dug out my doubloon and I do believe these are them. They're very thick and heavy, not like a regular geocoin. You may want to ask 2bugs about these, maybe he'll give you some ideas.

Geocaching fulfills 100% of your daily allowance of fun!

For the standard geocion, I'd think $12 was too high, but since this is for a good cause, I'd get a few.

1" label looks good!

You could try a Bluetooth gps of CF gps. My Pocket PC uses a bluetooth gps, so I'd assume there's something similar for the Palm.

I found a geocoin in a cache, but whoever dropped it did not log it in that cache, now it won't let me log it as found in that cache and also, when I dropped it in a different cache it won't let me log it as dropped ....need to know how I can change all that...please help...TY
Thanks nixno9! This is one of our coins...we got it logged into the right cache!

I use a 6 LED headlamp. It works great for night caching. You can see firetacks from very far away and it keeps your hands free.

Are there water access only caches or are they frowned upon? We have a lot of recreational boaters and kayakers in my area and I was thinking a couple on the (uninhabited) islands would be nice.

They're fine. Just make sure it's mentioned on the cache page that a boat or something is required. We have a cache like this and although I thought it was a great place for a cache, it doesn't get a lot of traffic. It's not in a well populated area, so that's expected. The nice thing about it is we can keep the swag content above par, so when people do go for it, they won't be finding a box full of old mctoys.

My away at college son turned me on to Geocaching. I am very new to this and would enjoy hooking up with some people in my area who do this...I am in the south end of Miami, Florida. Anybody care to join me ?
A good place to look would be the forum for your area. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=22

I like LP for the prefix as well. I think people will get it even if it isn't technically correct.
I know some people are going to be ordering more than the 50 coins, so they can have some extras for trade and what not, so they can have the complete set. Is there a way each of us could order other peoples coins, or order a complete set of the Geo 40? Like I could order my 50 coins plus 1 of everyone else's?
Just a thought, it may not be feasible, so feel free to shoot me down.

last one for 2006 was Yosemite Sam hates Dragons FTF!
First for 2007 was A Funny Place For A Fire Hydrant another FTF!
2 FTF's that we beat BPR to! Now that's a way to end/start a year! Of course, I'm sure this will be the only FTF for this year!

Coreynjoey send me a simple idea that you might like to see on your token and I will see what I can do. I will put your geo name on it also. Send me your address also, happy new year.
Happy New Year!
I sent you an email. Thank you so much, this is awesome!!
