  1. in that case we should not accept employees of life insurance companies as members ...
  2. during the christmas holidays i checked the most exposed of my caches in the northermost part of austria (waldviertel). they are in good shape and despite the snow easily accessible. greetings from the plank (back in vienna)
  3. Living near the Hungarian border (Vienna) I tried several times to get approvals of my finds from our hungarian friends - but no response. Try out fruzsa, he speaks english and logged a find in Slovenia. Good luck The Plank Post rabiem risu. (Childerich von Bartenbruch)
  4. I asked Cezanne, being known to me as a mathematician, for advice concerning the correct definition of the modulo function. Thereby we identified the "less than"-sign problem. What nowadays (the behaviour changes from day to day, see below) happens if using the "<". Yesterday: - with quotation marks: the "less than"-sign shows between quotation marks - without quotation marks: text until the next CR LF disappears (and I say "disappears" and not "does not show"). Today (11:00 gmt): - with quotation marks: one of the two quotation marks shows, text until the next CR LF disappears. - without quotation marks: text until the next CR LF disappears. At least we can discern 1 (one) consistent behaviour between yesterday and today. Post rabiem risu. (Childerich von Bartenbruch)
  5. Obviously the austrian geocachers are the greatest ;-): bergsteiger found by mixing up erroneously longitude with latitude the coordinates for Cordon Bleu a location at which I planned to hide a cache at this time. Try to beat this! Greetings from Vienna, Austria The Plank
  6. Dear Italian Geocachers, during our autumn visit to Piemonte and Liguria The Plank Team placed 2 caches: Langhe numero uno as well as Partigiani. As until now the two caches were not found, I would be very grateful if our Italian friends could have a look at our two babies. Many greetings from Vienna, Austria The Plank [This message was edited by The Plank on April 16, 2003 at 09:42 AM.]
  7. Should you travel by car and expect to go from the Cinque Terre to Milano using the expressway along the Ligurian Coast and then crossing the Alps near the french border i recommend "I Partigiani" due to the outstanding landscape. Best wishes from Austria The Plank
