Same problem: erratic to no satellite lock. Power off.on didn't help. Fresh batteries didn't help. Disabling Glanoss fixed it.

All the advice here is good. I found generally better prices (when you consider free shipping) on Amazon.com No worries buying from them directly. Take a more careful look at vendors accessed through their site.
