So that leaves 12 caching country in Europe I've not been to.

I could have added Montenegro and Bosnia in January, was in the adjacent areas of Croatia, but finding (FTF) my girlfriend there and taking her home to Austria was more important 😂

Oh-o. I just realized I could fly to Malaga for very little money and then take the bus to Gibraltar for a night on short notice. Hmm...

I did that last year, although it was a week's trip and I also visited Melilla and Ceuta on the African mainland, and later Sevilla.

  3. I did not receive the 28 days souvenir despite it being counted correctly in my statistics page. Is there still an issue there?

I have little "normal" geocache finds, most of them were adventures. On day 28, one lab was apparently counted towards day 27, but I logged another later and since I still didn't receive it, a Traditional too. Still nothing.

  4. ATM it irks me the most that the automatic event archive task doesn't consider if the listing has recently been unarchived... Granted, I could have avoided this by either immediately changing the date to the future subject to further change, or having the Reviewer Retract the listing additionally (which I actually requested), but still, this could reasonably be coded into the query of which listings to archive couldn't it?

I started the « Dark » series a few weeks ago and I am hooked.  Last night I watched season 2 episode 1 and also noticed the sign in Mikkel’s room. Very cool to have a geocaching cameo!

BTW, I am starting to ponder how to make a Wherigo that would represent the time travel aspect of the series. It could be a cool adventure!

I made one where you have to change the time settings on your device to "time travel". If you'd like, I can send you the source code.

  6. Since my last post, I've not collected any more countries, but I've upped my sub-country stats some.

I visited 7 more regions of Switzerland

    image.thumb.png.f797cb3b22364623bc9240d11c3870d0.png

I collected all counties of Liechtenstein
    image.thumb.png.6914c038d4ec77a331df57bc5867df32.png

as well as all regions of Slovenia

    image.thumb.png.7aafdf4f13c4a89a38205b878226bfa0.png

And I managed to visit a Community Celebration Event a.k.a. Lost & Found Event in all neighbor countries of Austria except Hungary and Italy (which will both follow in September). Maybe I'll hide a challenge for that (or, more likely, any type of event) :antenna:

Also, I now have 10 cachetypes in 9 countries, thanks to France and Switzerland... however, I still don't have a webcam in France! Oh no. :signalviolin:

Because it would be easier to find the final coordinates.

If I can't find the final coordinates of a Challenge or tradi LBH I think I should submit myself to the Muggle registration commission. Not showing them for normal mysterys and mystery/multi LBH is logical. But my question was, why are they not shown in the case of physical posted coordinates just because of the cachetype.

  8. I have the same problem in MEZ timezone. Affects all versions of the placed date search. The URL generated for the search results is off by one for all corresponding query string parameters, manually correcting them yields the desired results.

In the past year I added Costa Rica.  We went on vacation there.  For business i was in Bahrain and got a virtual at the main Souk.  Bab al Bahrain.    On my way home I got the virtual at the Frankfurt, Germany airport.  The owner was kind enough to message me about a very easy Adventure lab he did at the airport as well but I was too tired to chase it down.  Later this year we are planning to vacation in Ireland.  And I found a road which puts me in (ahem) Northern Ireland with a cache on it at a cool historical church..  So I guess that will be two more countries making nine total.

Northern Ireland is not counted as UK, though you should get an extra souvenir for Ulster (if you didn't already from an RoI county at the border...)

  10. Logging Events is only possible on their respective Placed Date anymore. The App for Android allows logging events on "wrong" dates and shows the events as Attended with a smiley on the map, even though the log silently fails.

There should be an error message that explains why the event could not be logged and to use the correct date / wait for the Placed Date to log.

Seen for events GC80000 and GC80101.

I have now booked my transport and accommodation for visiting Alderney, Herm and Sark in July (staying on Guernsey). Still need to figure our an Interrail-friendly train route to get there and back via GC80000 mega event...

My journey was by train and involved the SNCF and a French Ferry company. What would you guess happened? But at least I now have Sark as my 50th country and also found caches on Herm, Guernsey and on the way Paris, Caen and Cherbourg. Now back in France after 3 nights on Guernsey. Tomorrow I'll go to Lens near the Mega.

Sint Eustatius, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba 3 geocaches.

    9 already Archived in Comoros.

    Swaziland 12

    Saint Martin 18

looks like most of those 0 entries are artifacts of changes in territories... interestingly, someof those changes are also still visible on the geocaching.com side, e.g. mixed Swaziland/Eswatini results (51 total) in the new search or single Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba in the popup for caches on the new map.
I was confused for the major part of a quarter hour why your search has St Eustatius in the title two times and why it's only 3 caches, it is only a region and the whole country has more caches (43)
afaik North Korea really has 0, also Equatorial Guinea seems to have 0, same for Nauru or Bouvet Island

  13. There is a tool on project-gc.com which lists the sums of hidden caches per country.

    https://project-gc.com/Challenges//22565

There are 12 entries on that list which have no hidden caches:

  14. Germany I still don't have too many counties, at least I got all regions.

    image.thumb.png.08c82842a9a16723551aafbae26a81d6.png

I recently found out that Israel got counties data and I missed 4 when I was there, not having the map at the time... Not looking likely I will do those anytime soon... Again, aligar...

Perhaps I will sooner finish Czechia... Again, aligar...
    image.png.178bd68e3d70f843b82550c3602dfbf6.png

Or maybe Ireland? You know it, aligar... and the remaining ones are a nice contiguous blob...

    image.png.218edfc85def428e2d5135e51029d7da.pngti

As I wrote earlier, I still need Alderney in Guernsey, to have both regions...
