So What is the latest word on the race. Has it started??

 

Not yet. As far as I know there are only 2 racers so far.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone here knew where I could learn about policy regarding placing caches in national wilderness areas. Is it the same as national parks?

I bought camo tape at Wholesale Sports (I know that there's one in Edmonton, because there's a cache there!). Found it in the hunting section.

I'd love it if there were some more racers for this year's race. I know some are feeling burned by previous experience, but I don't think we'd be abandoned by the person/people running this year's race. In fact, it looks like Queen's Borrowers have done something similar before, as can be found on this cache page: Great Horse Race and Travel Bug Marina

Maybe have an event cache and make that an important topic of discussion to see what sort of interest is out there. I know someone (you?) has already tried starting up a Peace Region forum. That could be a good place to bring it up, too.
