Have just got myself a geko 201 (without the lead to put in a computer). However for the life of me I can not figure out how you put in the corordinates that would lead me to the cache. Is anyone able to give me an idiots guide?

Have only just discovered geocaching and my 6 year old loves it. We have downloaded the app onto my husbands iPhone buutt a) husband / phone often isn't around And 6 year old wants to hold it. Was hoping to get him a cheap, simple device which he can use and 'own' however a quick search on eBay shows them to be rather expensive. Can anyone recommend something cheap and suitable for a 6 year old?
