  1. Hi guys - if you're interested in Fugawi check the Radio Shack at Eaton Centre. They had one on sale the last time I was in there. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  2. Try your local Dollar Store - we can get the counterfeit bill detectors with spare batteries for $2 CDN - that's about $1.40 for our friends south of the border. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  3. We're not quite professional cachers yet, but we've been doing pretty good for ourselves up here in the Great White North when the weather let's us get out of the igloos. It's actually starting to get warm up here and we may have to give the sled dogs their summer trim soon. And you're right Zuuk, we do have a logo I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$

Any images you want have to be hosted on a web-site somewhere. You can't just insert the images into the cache page. You'll need to upload the images to your ISP (if you have web space) and then put a link the their location on the cache page. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  5. Also at Zellers and Crappy Tire I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  6. Try Lock 'N Lock containers made by Starfrit. They're lightweight and they are 100% watertight. Hard to beat them. If you want to camo them a bit use a spray paint designed for plastic (eg. Krylon) - looks great and it won't come off. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  7. UTM's are great - less numbers to punch in! But her ya go in lat/long: 48° 24.698' 123° 22.110' I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$

  9. Mmmmm ice cream....as promissed I went by there today to check it out and get a waypoint. Here it is in UTM's: 472731E 5362120N And here's a local secret - go to the line-up inside, if it's sunny out the lines outside are way too slow, the one inside moves pretty fast. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  10. If I remember I'll get a waypoint over the weekend and post it for ya I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  11. Hey, that's cool Team Giblert - we're honoured. We had a great time putting the event on. We'll be watching the little guy as he spreads his wings I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  12. An Idiot's Guide to Caching in Victoria after dark: LFL = Little F@$&*#% Light - a regular handheld flashlight used by most cachers who aren't lucky enough to live here RCLFL = Really Cool LFL - a 75,000 candlepower handheld light that packs a punch BFL = Big FL - the original, the one that started it all. A 500,000 candlepower rechargeable spot light CBFL = Camo BFL - a camo 1,000,000 candelpower rechargeable spot light DBBFL = Double Barrel BFL - a twin lens 3,000,000 candelpower night sun. Turns night into day and it can power other 12v devices like your cell phone - also used by local Fire Dept. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  13. Wow, what a great story. We were really worried when we heard about the fire, but relieved to know that MBC & CR came out of it ok (and your cats as well). I know this may sound corny, but to think that the DBBFL saved a life...it doesn't get much better than that. I didn't know that the TEAM had donated DBBFL's to the Fire Department. All I can say is wow and thanks. You truly are fine people. So does anyone know someone on the Fire Dept? We'd love to have them take part if they're interested - could they consider it a training activity?? I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  14. It's getting closer - start charging your LFL's, BFL's, CBFL's and DBBFL's. And don't forget to register.... I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  15. The Lock N Lock's have been used extensively in our area - they are completely waterproof and they stand up extremely well under all conditions. If they make a finer container I haven't found it. You can paint them up really well with a specialty plastic paint like Krylon. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  16. DOne - thanks for the suggestion. Are you guys gonna make it down? I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  17. The event cache page is now posted here. Please remember to register in advance by sending an email to Team Phoenix I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  18. Any light should do just fine - as long as you don't get BFL envy I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  19. We have the event all worked out - now the hard part, getting everyone to agree on the date. We know we won't be able to keep everyone happy but we'll do our best. Once we've got enough feedback we'll go with the majority. Here are some suggested dates - please let us know your preference: Mon 14th Fri 18th - long weekend Mon 21st - long weekend Fri 25th Mon 28th We're open to other options - we want to try and please as many people as possible. A few other details to keep in mind: - the event will start once it's dark out - it should run for approximately 2 hours (followed by beverages somewhere for those who are so inclined) - you will be competing in teams of 4. If you have someone you want to team up with please let us know. For those of you who do not have team mates we will match you up with someone - a fun time is guaranteed I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  20. Preparations are well underway. Team Phoenix has been carrying out night ops in order to prepare for the event. We would like to see a minimum of 16 participants. Once we have heard from a few more people we will work on picking the date. It will more than likely be a week night, but this is still open for debate. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  21. Ok - you asked for it and we listened. Team Phoenix has plans well underway for the first ever Victoria night caching and BFL extravaganza. We've been scoping out locations and putting together ideas. Now we need some input from you - what night of the week would be best for you? Would you be willing to contribute up to $10 to go towards prizes? We don't want to give away too many details in advance - we love suprizes. I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
  22. Up in Canada we can put code onto a cache page which will indicate that a Geocoin has been, or is currently in the cache. Take a look at this link I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$
