Thanks Red!! That was great! With The replies & other misc reviews and my original fellings I am going to get the 60CSx

I will buy the 60 CSx or the 76CSx ... I have a few questions so please chime in ... !. Do both of these units come with that little "treasure chest" icon or just the 60 ... Also, is that something that can be loaded into the unit? 2. Has anyone used the geo-location games... are they worth having? 3. I've seen that some people are using 1GB cards on the 60CSx (even though Garmin doesn't mention that) .. has anyone had a problem as a result of using a larger card (I wouldn't think so) 4. does the amount of memory of the unit itself matter a whole lot as opposed to using memory in the cards? The 76 had 115MB and the 60 has 56MB, I think ... I will use this for geocaching and road-tripping ... (if it goes on the boat I will take close care and also use a floating key ring! so I don't necessarily need it to float) Thanks for tolerating all the queries! Any help is greatly appreciated

While the geocache mode isn't listed on the main 60CSx description page, if you follow the Manuals link on that page you can download a copy of the Owner's Manual (it's a PDF document). If you read through that, you'll see the section about the geocaching-specific waypoint list on pgs 20-21, and the geocache setup screen on pg 72. (You'll also find the games that McKryton mentioned starting on pg 87.) Thank you! I found all the info!

Once again thank you all so much for the replies & all the good info ... I think I will choose the 60CSX and Navigator and hold off on Topos for now, until i'm more into caching ... Now to develop a signature item ... hmmmm ... I already have some cool ideas.. . . I'm looking forward to this new adventure!

I'll definitely go for the Navigator but hold off on Topos for now ... McKryton ... are you sure the 60CSx has the geocache mode? I'm not finding it in the description. do you have one? Hello! I'm currently shopping for a GPS unit and will most likely pick a Garmin and have narrowed it down to 3-4. I will use it for road navigation and I want to begin geocaching. 1. Does anyone have a unit with the "dedicated geocaching mode" and/or the "geolocation games" ... are these fun & helpful? 2. Is the City Select or City Navigator necessary or do the units come with sufficent mapping for road trips? 3. Do I need to get any Topo maps for geocaching? I'm sure I could come up with more ???'s but that's a start Thank you in advance! Elaine
