  1. Picked up Mr. Jiffy's Summer Meltdown #29 last week in Douglas #6 Russellville (GCA82C) down near Denver, CO. I was finally able to get some pictures taken and drop the coin in a cache here in Fort Collins, CO, before the 7 day limit was up! Sorry for the blurryness of the coin in the pictures, my camera isn't that great! I was on my way to a cache when I drove by the Colorado State University Annual Flower Trial Garden, and decided I had to stop and take some pictures. This is where different plants and flowers are tested to see how they grow in the Rocky Mountain environment. Right across the street from the Annual Flower Test Garden is the old Fort Collins High School, which is now the University Center for the Arts. After spending a while just sitting there and enjoying the evening, I finally made it it to a cache, For the G-Man (GC1C3NA), where the coin and I parted ways. Thanks for the awesome cointest Mr. Jiffy! I have enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures and am glad I was finally able to participate!
  2. Here are the two coin that I won in the mini-cointest: TB1A8P8 TB1A6BJ Geopigs have already picked both of them up! Thanks again Roddy!
  3. Congrats to the winners! Thanks for the very fun cointest!
  4. Back in the summer of 2005, I played Xbox all the time with my friends, and was anxiously awaiting the release of the new Xbox 360. There was a contest happening with Mountain Dew, where you would take the code off the inside of the cap, and enter it online for a chance to win an Xbox 360. In the process of registering for the contest, I had to create a new email address. I sat there trying to think of something, and xboxcrazy33 just popped into my head immediately, since I was (and kinda still am) crazy for Xbox. 3 is one of my favorite numbers, so I decided to double up and use 33. Anyways, I ended up winning an Xbox 360, and that good luck convinced to use xboxcrazy33 for things from then on. Almost forgot, thanks for the cointest!
  5. What a funny story! That way of naming a baby has a lot of possibly crazy outcomes though! Thanks so much for the cointest! What a great cause and a great way to honor Tod's memory. I'm probably gonna order a Cachestalker in the next couple days, and will release it as soon as it arrives. Thanks again! Have a fun weekend!
  6. Did his name come from putting Toddy and Marie (his mom's middle name) together?
  7. My favorite non-trackable coin is the Geo_Leprechaun's pot of gold, since I am not the proud owner of one!
  8. Very cool coin! I'd have to say: 1) Antique Gold 2) Antique Copper 3) Antique Silver
  9. Today (9/3/2008) was an amazing day! I had decided that early this evening I would ride my bike and try to find a couple geocaches that had been DNFs for me before. I ended up finding them both right away, then did another cache nearby. This put me in a wonderful mood; it's always nice to defeat previous DNFs, and the weather was perfect! When I came home I logged the finds, and then went about my night. As I was about to go to bed, I was browsing through some bookmarks that I have in Firefox, and saw that the Geo_Leprechaun had visited a cache 12 miles south of where I live! (GC1186D, I-25 Truck Stop TB Hotel/Cache) So I grabbed whatever swag I found laying around, my barely working headlamp, my GPSr, and ran out the door. It was 11:00 at night at this point, but I was determined to get there as quickly as I could. When I opened the cache, there it was, Pot 'o Gold #331 shining up at me! I let out a squeal of excitement, traded for it, and went into the truckstop and had a late-night breakfast to celebrate! Thanks so much Geo_Leprechaun for your generosity, as well as my first mystery coin! (Sorry for the bad pic; my camera is terrible!)

  13. Right now I'm on a Kiosk computer at the truck terminal, but after I get to a truckstop where I can get my computer online, I'll post pictures for all the coins. I have a Group Shot, Front of Coin, Back of Coin, and pics of each Mission/Owner ID Card with the corresponding Coin. One Coin even has a Picture with an Exotic Bird(sort of) in keeping with it's Mission! Wow! You really went above and beyond for this cointest! You have me seriously excited to see the pictures! Thanks so much!
