    how do I

Maybe someone has already asked this question.... Is there an easy way to figure out what caches are in the degree zones that I don't have. I'm in Maine and I have three degree zones left to complete. thanks for any help
  3. Before I did the lasted firmware update I used to get the attributes info on my oregon now for some reason I am not. I have made the change in my profile. Anyone have any ideas?
  4. [quote name='Headstone Hunter 1' date='Jul 28 2008, 01:27 PM' post='3576985' Download and unzip the file. Now you should see a file called "Cachemate" along with some other stuff. Run that file and it will set it up to be loaded onto the palm the next time you run the Hotsync. You only have to run this install 1 time. Now if you go into the folder called "file converter" you will see a file called "cmconvert". Make a short cut icon out of it so its easy to find. This is the program that you will use to load your gpx or loc file from geocaching into cachemate. hi thanks I just did that but shouldn't I see the cachemate on my palm
  5. I have cachemate on my desk top but I'm unable to add it to the palm. Anyone have any ideas??
  6. For Sale: Palm TX pda. I bought this unit for a friend but she says she won't use it. I will sell it for $200.00

  8. I found the owner of this travel bug!!!!
  9. Check the logs for the cache and see if anyone mentions dropping the bug and/or post a message to the cache asking the owner to PM you and describe their bug. Then follow eartha's directions. Hi thanks for the ideas , I have found out where my nephew go Dumbo and who placed it there. I have e-mail the person to see if they are the owners.
  10. My nephew picked up what he thought was a travel bug in TN. He said that he wasn't able to log it in and he's in college right now so he gave it to me. I tried to log it in only to find out that it's not been activated. It is an elephant with a bone shape tag that says DUMBO. If the owner put it out not realizing it wasn't active I'll send it back to them. Who does it belong to??
  11. I call mine Eartha, it's the delorme earthmate pn-20. I've on;y had it a few weeks and I love it.
  12. I justed returned my colorado 300. I liked it very much, but was disapointed with the short life of the batteries. Then sometimes I could load geocaches and then sometimes not. The unit would say that it was in it but it wasn't. I wanted to ungrade my gps and go paperless at the same time. I may have to go with my idea of a palm unit for paperless.
  13. I have had my Colorado 300 for less than a week. I like every thing about it except for downloading geocache pages. I loaded a fifty mile radius from my zip code and when I was done all that was on the gps was from miles 23 to 39 miles. The others were gone. Earlier in the day I had put some other cahe pages on it and they too were gone. has anyone else had this problem??
  14. I have the ipod touch and they now have the notes page, I wondering if anyone knows if you can download caches into it. I thought you could with other ipods, and the ipod touch didn't have the notes option at first but they had an upgrade. I haven't been able to figure it out.
  15. I placed my own cache the other day and went to it today to drop off a coin and on the way out discovered a cache that had been placed June 11, 2006. It is not listed and so we signed the log, but I want to know how I can get in touch with the owner. I tried the name that was on the outside of the cache but no luck. Had I known that it was there I might not have place mind there. Any body have any thoughts.
