  1. Thanks for the responses. Now we will see how fast "highest priority" is.
  2. I cannot search for any cartridges by any means - zip, state, country, advanced, browsing latest. Every search leads to the message at the end of my post. I'm running Firefox 3.6.3 on a Mac. Thanks, Journeymnn Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web> </configuration> Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web> </configuration>
  3. I have a new Legend HCx. I know I can connect it via USB to my laptop using National Geographic's TOPO for example. Would this approach work if the laptop were running Wherigo? Since a laptop in the field is awkward, would it work for a non-GPS Pocket PC running Wherigo - i.e. could it link to the Legend via USB? I'm just not ready to buy a Colorado yet. Nor do I want to fork out for a GPS enabled pocket PC since I already have a great handheld GPSr Thanks.
  4. Thanks - I'll move over to that established forum thread for further discussion if need be.
  5. Several of my caching friends and I, who are lucky enough to live in a cache dense area , have run into the problem of laboring over a new cache listing only to be denied because a puzzle cache's final coordinates were within 0.1 miles of where we had thought was an open area. Since it is impossible to know whether an unsolved puzzle cache or sometimes even a stage of a multicache will fall within an apparently empty area ahead of time, it would save a lot of unnecessary work on the part of the cacher placing the cache and the reviewer, if we could search an area of 0.1 mile radius around a set of coordinates for any caches, stages of a multi, and final puzzle coords. The result would be just a yes/no, so as not to give away any puzzles, etc. Thanks.
  6. Thanks to all for their suggestions. My wife is French, and I have been several times, but that was before geocaching...[]
  7. I'm going on a two-week trip to France in the middle of September. I have an Explorist 210. Are there any detail/topo maps available? Magellan only now seems to sell an SD card with 3 regions in France, only one of which I'll be in - Paris. They don't cover Nice or Corsica, which are the other two places I'll be. Aren't they a French company? Seems ridiculous that this is all they offer. Should I just cache by coords with no map? Thanks.
  8. Thanks for all the info, Embra. That helps me a lot.
  9. As a rank newbie, I've tried to search this forum for a thread that summarizes the current autorouting software, but didn't find anything. Apologies if it does already exist... I just purchased an e210. Here are some questions... As far as autorouting software, is my only choice MapSend Direct Route? Has anyone tried version 3? It seems like the GPS unit can hook up to my laptop to provide DeLorme Street Atlas 2006 and MS Streets and Trips 2006 real time position access, but can maps and routes be downloaded from these programs to the e210 to be used apart from the laptop? Alternatively, does Direct Route v. 3 provide autorouting on the laptop, with voice control, etc.? I feel like I need an autorouter through the maze of autorouting software...HELP! Thanks in advance.
