  1. maps not working for travel bugs right now?
  2. 7047 Somehow I am proud of that. Not sure why. But you can bow anyway
  3. I have a free account, so I try not to complain about anything. But golly gee, it takes me 4 times longer to log my finds as it does to find them. Do paying members have access to faster servers? If not, I would pay double what the monthly fee is for membership if ALL the money went to hire faster squirrels and stronger rubber bands. Maybe we can start a Paypal donation account and take donations and then send Groundspeak a check for new servers once we got up to a certain amount. All responses are welcome, those in support and those that make fun of my mother are fine. Just remember, if you make fun of my momma I reserve the right to put skunky smelling dirty socks in all your caches.
  4. Okay, I just read through 4 pages of discussion on Power Trails and I have this to say: Keystone Approver, you have done a great job monitoring this discussion. I mean that. Kudos to you. Keep up the great work as a custodian for this great pastime.
  5. If somebody would post the event cache a little more "creatively", I bet it could get approved. Of course, by the time it got approved The Meatmeister could be out of the hospital....

I predict a serious dearth of cache finds in the Portland Metro area this weekend. ... and they all joined in on the chorus of "slip sliiiidin' away......"
  7. If you look around in the parent website www.barbi.info then things make more sense.
  8. You haven't done anything wrong. Guilty conscience? Actually, there is a new Top 40 song out by an artist named Lazyboy. I was going to accuse you of being that artist, but once I heard the lyrics, especially the unedited lyrics, I decided not to bring attention to it.
  9. uh, just meant to say, "never mind", but instead it looks like I am telling everyone to ignore Lazyboy. No offense intended, just me being an idiot.
  10. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...d3-f8fad91b163c click above.
  11. So, from the information submitted above it could be said that the epicenter of geocaching has shifted over the last 6 months or so 394 miles to the southeast, from Stockton, CA to Colton, CA.
  12. You know, the wide mouth 10 or 20 or 25 lb. plastic peanut butter jars. I am tired of buying them full of peanut butter for seven dollars and then glopping the peanut butter all over the backyard for the birds to eat. Okay, I don't really do that, but where can I buy this size plastic wide mouth container with a screw on lid new and unused? I don't think I worded this question very well, but you get the idea. Oh yeah, I want to buy some so I can use them for cache containers, because some yayhoo steals any ammo boxes I put out, must be reselling them to cachers or something.
  13. Hey, check this out: http://stats.guk2.com/cachers/view_cachers...der=found.count Think we could get the webmaster at www.geocacheuk.com to do the same for all cachers who have found caches in: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming? We could have our own Northwest forum stats!
  14. Hey, check out these stats: http://stats.guk2.com/cachers/view_cachers...der=found.count So, all we gotta do is talk the webmaster at www.geocacheuk.com to host the North American stats too, and we should have our stats back! Is that about right?
  15. I finally got the message. Will get the Mailleman his Mag 310 back. An event on July 10th does not work for me, however. I will be in Sacramento that weekend at the Olympic Track and Field Trials. My brother is good friends with the Skipper family and Tommy is going to qualify for the Olympics in the Pole Vault. If you haven't been following University of Oregon freshman and recently crowned NCAA Champion Pole Vaulter Tommy Skipper, you should Google him up. He is the real deal. His late brother Art was an amazing person also. I guess I will look for the mid-week event Lazyboy talked about. You know, originally the Pizza events were ALL going to be mid-week events, once a month, but somehow that got sidetracked...
  16. I did a cache run from the Butte Falls, Or area to the Chiloquin, OR area on May 29th, 2004, and along the way I found a working GPS unit. If you can give me enough info to indicate I am returning it to the rightful owner, I will find a way to get it back to you. You know, things like where you think you might have left it and what brand and model it is, and maybe even what brand of batteries are in it. Just trying to do the right thing here....
  17. Rumour has it a certain Southern Oregon cacher has made THIS their new signature item.
  18. I don't care who ya are.... THAT'S funny!
  19. Yeah, but her hair always has that crumpled, just-woke-up look. OH YEAH! That's so hot. I got yer sexy news anchor babe right here: <p> http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3080436/
  20. Of course, what these nice people are neglecting to tell you is that each trail to the top of each of the Table Rocks is approximately 800 ft in elevation change on a 1 mile hike(as the crow flies).
  21. FINALLY?!? Are you out of your mind? Apparently Fallout hasn't met Lazyboy yet, or he wouldn't have to ask that question.
  22. The whole thing is kind of silly, because the type of people that use the forest are the type of people who don't have a problem parking 200 yards from the designated forest pass area to avoid having to pay. I actually tried to buy a forest pass twice. Once in the Prospect area and once in the Applegate area. Both times I stopped at the Ranger Station and told them where I was going, and both times they told me I didn't need a pass there. I think it is similar to buying a membership to Geocaching.com. You don't REALLY need to do it, but it is commendable to support your passions.
