  1. awesome thanks i figured gsak had a macro but i had yet to find it
  2. Can the c60 display the different type of cache symbols without manually changing them? ie display puzzles and multis
  3. Yes please. About to get a Bold. Not getting rid of the 60CSx mind you, but I would like to know how I can carry all of New Zealand's caches with me (just under 5000) and use the BB to access the pages off-line. (Where I live, you can lose mobile coverage about 30 mins driving out of town That way I migth retire my iPAQ with BeelineGPS. I have loaded over 2000 cache listings into cacheberry and it holds the whole cache listing and hints. The program will also e-mail you your finds for the day when you mark it as found. It will hold all the caches your sd card will allow as it merges the .gpx files together when you impot them. It's goto compass is great too, I frequently leave my GPS at home and just go out with the BB. Easier to be casual seeking an urban cache with just your cell in your hand.
  4. Cacheberry is a great app that stores the whole cache listing, hints decrypted and it also works as a compass for your bb's internal gps. It accepts .gpx files. Great app I have been using it since the initial beta test and it gets better with every update. The beta version gives you 30 days to try and the full licenced is only about 20 with free updates forever. There is also a beta Wherigo player for the bb and cellphones called openwig. Works ok but a lil glitchy but it's free and still in development
  5. tESTED it tonight with my curve 8310 worked well. The gps refresh rate is slow and it lost connection to my gps a couple times but no complaints here. Got me to GZ and allows me to access the Wherigo's that are emulator protected, which was my prior method......Good work and Thanks
  6. I love the cacheberry app. I keep 1500 caches in it at most times so anywhere i may be i can go hunting.
  7. For those interested, tune in to OLN at 10 PM eastern time to watch "Word Travels", featuring Julia Dimon, a freelance travel journalist, exploring the world of geocaching in New Zealand. There is also an article: http://www.metronews.ca/toronto/live/article/43595 featured in Toronto's Metro newspaper this morning highlighting tonight's show as well.
  8. Well, i must go chech out this cache the article got my interest (it was in the toronto sun) I bought a GPS the next day and it got me strted onto my new hobby.
